Toward a World that Works for Everyone
What questions would a cross-cultural spirituality answer? (1) It would answer the following: (1) Who is asking? What is a human being? Are human beings only to be found on Earth? (2) How did human beings originate? How did life originate? And is there an Originator? (3) Did the creation of life serve a purpose? […]
Yesterday I found my stash of Paramahansa Yogananda Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) monthly lessons from decades ago. I now have access again to the documents which are the source of the equation of “Om” with the “Holy Spirit.” Each of these fundamental statements is of immense value to the spiritual student. To me, they’re like a […]
I’m going through my readings to find insights into leadership and constantly turning up gems from Michael. In this short piece, he tells me I’ll find the key to the Mother’s Plan in my heart and urges me to explore more deeply. I’ve never worked for a more encouraging boss. To me, the Mother’s Plan […]
In rummaging through my files for a quote on “drama,” I happened instead on this remarkable interview I had with Archangel Michael the very day of my 2015 heart opening. Since we as a planet are going through a more gradual version of one, what Michael has to say here must surely be of interest. […]
Whenever I feel guilt or shame or dismay, I can say with certainty that my Wounded Child is in the driver’s seat. I can say this with certainty because of what I saw and felt in a meditation I did at Xenia Retreat Center on Sept. 18, 2018. I saw the Self in the depths […]
My original assignment was to go up with everyone else, passing from Ascension milestone to Ascension milestone – and write about it. I regard what I write as an Ascension ethnography, warts and all, to be read by other civilizations planning their own Ascensions. As Sanat suggested back in 2011: “What takes place here, of […]
In the course of other research, I came across this discussion with Archangel Michael from late 2017. It answers my question, what lies beyond the planetary heart opening, which is happening gradually as we speak? His reply was very informative. I’m not completely sure if he was talking to me only or to all of […]
Everything about me that could be called a “personality” or a “character” I create. And I have to create it again and again, daily, hourly, because if I don’t create it, to all effects, it isn’t there. There are things that I was emphasizing yesterday which I’m not emphasizing today. This is a good time […]
(Concluded from Part 1, yesterday.) Let me now give you three examples of celestial mediation in my own spiritual experiences. These were generally toned down so that I would remain in service as a communicator, staying in synch with my readers. It isn’t the fact that they were toned down that I’m pointing at; it’s […]
I have two radically-different sides of myself. One side lives always looking to the next moment for pleasure and excitement. It never sinks into the experience itself but always looks for what’s next. First I’ll walk around the park; then I’ll go shopping; then I’ll research; then I’ll write an article. I feel happy at […]
Eric Berne’s ego states are particularly helpful in looking at the operation I’m doing on myself. What Berne meant by “ego state,” I think, would be the same as what we mean by “states of consciousness.” “Ego’” here just means “I.” If I can adapt his terms, I grew up with a bad-parent ego state […]
This transition that I’m going through continues. It’s like a snowball – decades of slow work on vasanas and now gathering speed. I spent nearly six decades healing dissociation. Now I’m using a dissociative fantasy to provide leadership to myself, to assume command over myself. I’m imagining that “I” am an older brother (Big Steve) […]
I can see that I’m on a journey of recovery, as are so many of us. The lessons of the journey seem to be cumulative. The experience of gentleness recently opened a new door of experience for me but it was also the latest in many lessons over time that were showing me the tremendous […]
I felt wretched today – all my friends are away at the moment. I felt lonely, sad, forlorn. Then I wrote a stimulating article and found myself at the end of it saying “Yes!” I immediately saw that what was present in the situation as it existed at the moment was unconscious invalidation (Happy? “Not […]
We have events pending in Abundance (the Reval), Disclosure (the Delegations), and Ascension (the planetary heart opening). This article is on heart openings. I was writing another article and wanted to locate a particular quote from Archangel Michael, in which he discussed the reasons why my situation attracted a heart opening on March 13, 2015. […]
