Toward a World that Works for Everyone
I confess I’m enjoying this series. Nothing feeds me more than the study of enlightenment. Let me post one more, from Plotinus. Plotinus had numerous transcendental experiences in his lifetime. I’ve posted this passage before. It also may emanate from one who ascended. Is this not a hint of his attainment: “Remaining here, you have […]
https://tinyurl.com/3vy4advt Most sentient life in the universe is nonphysical. Here on planet Earth, we are among the pioneers of life’s great adventurers in experience. We agreed to incarnate, not just into a 4D spirit world, but even further into the crushingly dense realm of 3D physicality. In order to be here, we have wandered far from […]
Pseudo-Dionysius was a Syrian-Christian transcendental philosopher of the late 5th to early 6th century. I’ve always found him one of the most profoundly inspiring of sages who appear to know what the ascended state is. His predicament, I believe, was how do I communicate what is ultimately incommunicable to people who won’t know what I’m […]
St. Paul gave an intriguing view of Ascension in 1 Corinthians. I want to single it out for comment. First let me give the passage and then interpret it, using more modern language. Paul in 1 Corinthians 15: 42-55. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised […]
Let’s next look at the concept of the culmination of Ascension in Christianity. Jesus and his disciples called the culminating event the Resurrection, Redemption, and Salvation. Resurrection was from mortality to immortality, as Jesus asserts that he has accomplished: “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen.” […]
Let’s turn now to Sri Ramakrishna’s life and words. Sri Ramakrishna was an avatar, a descent of the divine into matter. One of the purposes of his incarnation was to illustrate that the techniques for enlightenment given in the scriptural texts of all religions actually work and the descriptions of the states attained were true. […]
While waiting for the other shoe to drop in world affairs, I’d like to look at how terrestrial spiritual masters like Sri Ramana Maharshi, Jesus, and others have discussed the culmination of Ascension. Most of them don’t speak about Ascension but instead about mukti, moksha, liberation from the wheel of birth and death, etc. , […]
While the phrase belongs to a late-Victorian commentator, “dreamlight to kill daylight” about describes the way the media functioned in our society back in the days when it was hidden, not so heavy-handed and obvious as today. (1) At some future time, we’re going to be hearing that some people deemed central to that dreamlight […]
by Mashubi Shekiniah https://tinyurl.com/45t4za6 Dearest Beloveds, The holy divine planet that you live upon is sacred, and is a being whose purpose is to house and nourish the great multiplicity of life that the Divine Creator has brought forth into physical manifestation. This is a great and profound miracle, that goes largely unnoticed by most human […]
There are so many ways we anchor ourselves outside ourselves. We look for love from others when it exists in abundance in our own hearts. And then we blame the other when they don’t love us enough – as if they’re a gas pump. We base our good estimation of ourselves on the reactions and […]
I watch the mainstream media do with this generation of lightworkers what it did with my generation’s Growth Movement and I’m sad. They intentionally misconstrued the aims of our movement and ridiculed us as “the Me Generation.” That derogatory term signified everything we’ve come to think of as self-serving, narcissistic, etc. In fact, as I […]
https://tinyurl.com/4zk8hsvh Sisters and Brothers! I am your Tim / Timothy in Agartha, the inner world of the earth. In the Nordic countries, you have spring now and enjoy the progress of spring after a heavy, dizzying and eventful darker season. A lot has happened in your inner self and that is what makes a difference in […]
I’m reflecting on our missions and what they call forth or require of us. I’m a writer. That calls forth from me a desire for cave time, private space, contemplative, meditative, reflective time. It’s introverted, by definition, inward-turned, inward drawn. It’s not extroverted. It doesn’t lead to running for public office. It doesn’t attend barbeques […]
Multi-storey art seen from above is uplifting. Amazing drone footage captures Vancouver murals at new angles (VIDEO) By Brendan Kergin, Vancouver, April 12th, 2021 https://www.vancouverisawesome.com/vancouver-news/amazing-drone-footage-captures-vancouver-murals-at-new-angles-video-3625147 Vancouver’s many murals are eye-catching, but most of us only get to see them from ground level. Thanks to YT Drone some new perspectives are available. They’ve uploaded multiple videos […]
As a lightworker and a spiritual seeker, I see the benefits of cleansing, purifying, removing obstacles, processing vasanas, deconstructing the constructed self, reparenting myself, etc. I know what’s “down there.” (1) And it’s innocent and pure, loving and blissful. I am in a sense uncovering it. Or one could look at the matter in an […]
