I’d like to say more about awareness. (1) Pardon me if I repeat one or two observations.
I said earlier that Michael asked me to serve as a kind of Everyman in this Ascension
Archangel Michael: There is much to be said for Everyman, and that is part of the role you play … – with curiosity, with exploration, with insight. So our desire is not to separate you from the collective. Let go of that fear. (2)
I also promised I’d begin my work of laying down foundational principles for different aspects of building Nova Earth and of the Nova Earth we’re building.
I’d like to start with awareness. Why awareness? Because if the purpose of life is to know who we truly are, this “knowing” begins and ends with awareness.
Awareness for me means to notice or perceive something. We say such a thing has “entered” our awareness. After it enters my awareness, I do with it what I do. I take it further and conceive (make an idea) of what I became aware of. I decide it’s of no interest and move on. I make note of it and file it away in memory.
I’ve heard it said that the proper study of humanity [mankind] is humanity itself and the proper study of the individual is the ways of the (small-s) self. Self-awareness is a path to enlightenment. It strips away illusion and invites realization through self-revelation via releasing our burden.
Ramana Maharshi compressed spiritual practice into the casting of a single question: “Who am I?” (3) That is the central question, its answer, a cosmic secret, along with higher-dimensional love.
One of my speculations is that self-awareness will become a much-studied subject.
Self-Awareness is what will fulfill the purpose of life at the end. According to the vision I saw in 1987, (4) of the journey of a single soul from God to God, awareness of its true identity was the act that caused the reunion of the Self with the One.
Awareness leads to discrimination or discernment. Krishna said that developing discrimination was the purpose of physical life.
Krishna: Be angry, and you confuse the mind;
Confuse your mind, you forget the lesson of experience;
Forget experience, you lose discrimination;
Lose discrimination, and you miss life’s only purpose. (5)
What kind of discrimination? Discrimination between the Real and the unreal.
Awareness and discernment have God meet God in a moment of our Self-Realization and complete the task that God has asked of every soul (to know who it is). Awareness led to knowledge, which led to reunion for us first with Self and then with God.
Awareness is what continues to exist, inside and outside the body, awake and asleep, “dead” or “alive.”
Awareness, I assert, is eternal. Consciousness is who I am. The longing for liberation, (6) which grows stronger the further along we go, has me more and more drawn to self-awareness.
I’ve been outside my body so I know that my field of awareness is independent of it. Seeing and knowing it causes a wholesale reordering of one’s universe. I am not my body. Then who the heck am I?
Awareness, as I’ve said elsewhere, dissolves. (7) Jesus explains:
Jesus: You have to realize that consciousness is something very powerful. It is much more than a passive registering of an emotion – consciousness is an intense creative force.
Now imagine again that something in the outside world evokes a powerful emotion in you – for example, anger. When you deal with it consciously, you observe it fully in yourself. You do nothing about it, while at the same time you keep observing and watching.
You no longer identify with the anger, you do not lose yourself in it, you just allow the anger to be what it is. This is a state of detachment, but a detachment that takes great strength, because everything you have learned seduces you into being drawn into your moods, inside the emotion of anger or fear. And to make it more complicated, you also get drawn into judgment about that anger or fear. (8)
So awareness is not neutral. It can dissolve a condition.
What’ll have it persist is if we do something to resist it. As Werner Erhard said in the 1970s, what we resist persists.
It’ll resist being resisted and remain locked with us in an inner struggle. We call that struggle “cognitive dissonance.” It’s the opposite of happiness and contentment.
It’s the house divided against itself that Jesus warned us about. It will not stand. The Divine Mother tells us what happens to a person locked in cognitive dissonance. Here she describes the fate of one who seeks power over others:
Divine Mother: It is painful for a being that seeks power for themselves or power over another, whether it is a parent over a child, a husband over a wife, a man over an army. It matters not.
The yearning [for], the exercise of control never gives joy. The pain simply grows. And so the actions become more grotesque, larger, until the breakdown is and has [been] and will be occurring. (9)
Just think Hitler or Stalin.
Self-awareness as a practise remains undiscovered by the vast majority of us. The few who exist in a state of consciousness Werner Erhard called “conscious awareness” do so after long practise of everyday self-awareness. I’d speculate that life picks up after that point. (10)
After G/NESARA, (11) we’ll have more time for spirituality. One of the paths presented to us, one that is seen as peculiarly western, when workshops and retreats return, will be the practise of self-awareness. (12) The discovery of who I am, who you are, and who we all are – which is God.

(7) Awareness is dissolutive. By that I don’t mean that it dissolves. But, rather, when we rest in passive awareness of something, it, meeting no resistance, tends to stay for a while and then move on. Nothing is holding it here.
What we resist persists but we’re not resisting. In this sense, awareness is dissolutive. (“Steve Beckow, I am Self-Serving,” June 25, 2023, at https://goldenageofgaia.com/?p=345987.)

(10) I was just given a strange metaphor to explain the difference between “conscious” and “unconscious” awareness. Both are radar screens. In unconscious awareness, we repaint the radar screen every second or two. In conscious awareness, we do not need to repaint the screen. Does that make sense?

(12) Lightwork is more a form of service, seva, or karma yoga. But self-awareness is one tool that the servant or sevak may use to enhance their service. It helps to remain present, to recover from a failed interaction, to maintain control of oneself in difficult circumstances, etc.
