There’s no need to fear death. I’ve been outside my body. I know I’m not it.
I’ve been inside it as well.
Looking out through my eyes as if they were windows and then suddenly! My experiencing consciousness shifts to the outside and, as it does, I lose all awareness of the “me” that was inside.
I don’t know what happened to it. I’m in another world now, literally.
I laughed when I saw this and then fantasized that my spirit body inside was laughing and that my body is a clone, laughing at the spirit’s command.
I say “spirit.” I don’t know if it was my etheric body, astral, mental, causal, whatever. It doesn’t come with a label.
“Spirit” is my catch-all until I discover a whole lot more than one out-of-body experience can teach me. (1)
Anyways, the upshot is I know absolutely that there is no need to fear death. Because I’ve spent time away from my body and then donned it like a suit of clothes, no one can tell me that I and my body are the same thing. They are not.
I’m not a soldier. I’ve never had that lack of fear put to the test. But on an everyday basis a fear of death does not enter into my calculations.
And, of course, added to that, you and I know that Ascension is coming, which will end the need to be reborn. Rebirth is an aspect of Third- and Fourth-Dimensionality on the physical plane – which means encumbered by a physical body – not of the afterlife or the higher dimensions – which are unencumbered. (2)
So there REALLY is no need to fear death if you intend on ascending. Ascension is an inclusive event, remember. It only depends on whether you can tolerate the more intense Light, as Matthew tells us:
“[Your] limitations are being reversed by the ever-increasing intensity of light in bodies that are absorbing it. Actually, your ‘travel ticket’ is the absorption of light that comes automatically with living in godly ways.” (3)
“Living in godly ways.” Does that not mean living according to the divine qualities? It does for me.
No need to fear the moment of death. In every case I’ve read about, the person is removed from their body before an impact. I believe that would include Charlie and Iryna. (4)
I find, with the fear of death out of the way, I calm down in the most general sense.

Our ignorance, I think, obscures or outright hides so much about our world which, if we knew it, would settle us all right down.
The fact that there would be enough in the world – enough gold, enough food, enough of almost everything, I believe – to take care of the entire population with no strain … if there were peace in the world … should be reassuring.
War is not ignorance. It’s a denial of the truth. What truth? That we are all God. That everything is God. That we’re all travelling on the same journey, back to the God from whence we came. That, when we return, now having Self-Knowledge, God will meet God in a moment of our enlightenment.
As Rumi reminds us, that journey and that outcome are all that matter:
“There is one thing in this world which must never be forgotten. If you were to forget everything else, but did not forget that, then there would be no cause for worry; whereas if you performed and remembered and did not forget every single thing, but forgot that one thing, then you would have done nothing whatsoever.
“It is just as if a king had sent you to the country to carry out a specified task. You go and perform a hundred other tasks; but if you have not performed that particular task on account of which you had gone to the country, it is as if you have performed nothing at all.
“So man has come into this world for a particular task, and that is his purpose; if he does not perform it, then he will have done nothing.” (5)
Self-Knowledge is that task; enlightenment, God-Realization. God meeting God. The prodigal child has returned home.
Whatever happens next in the world does not change what I regard as facts.
