The Human Body is a Veil
What’s generally missing from the discussions of the veil are in-depth explorations of the veiling mechanism. For instance, I said in the first part of this series that the human body is a relative non-conductor of the spirit body’s emotions but there is little discussion of what the mechanism is that inhibits that free flow.
There’s no discussion of the fact that muscle tension in the body impedes awareness. The closest we come to an acknowledgment of the contrarium (resistant obstacle) the physical body is is with Sue Lie’s Arcturians: “The physical body is very dense and of a very, very low frequency.” (1)
On another occasion, they say that “your human body is your step-down transformer.” (2) But there is no more discussion of the subject than that.
That’s as far as the discussion goes.
It may be that many higher-dimensional beings don’t know that much about the human body or have forgotten. Archangel Michael acknowledged as much to me in a private reading. He said that “you are in a human body. Now I don’t really know that much about human bodies.” (3) Why should he? the Elohim make the body, preserve it and change it.
That was candid and may say something about why the messages are simply general on the subject of the “veil.”
Saul says that “being human, experiencing a human existence, places limitations on you; it is part of the human condition, as your full and magnificent God-given wisdom could not be supported by your human vehicle.” (4) But how or why it cannot be supported he does not say.
On another occasion, Saul says that “you are all divine beings of power and might who have chosen to constrain yourselves within the very narrow confines of a human body.” (5) Again no detail on how the human body impedes awareness.
On another occasion, Saul refers to our illusory state:
“You are divine beings created in Love for eternal happiness. It is just that your illusory state of existence has temporarily hidden this divine truth from you.” (6)
SaLuSa also makes vague references to a veil we’ve donned.
“You accepted the veils that were drawn across your eyes as you dropped deeper into the lower vibrations.” (7)
Of course a veil was not actually drawn across our eyes; he’s using a metaphor. But in what way it’s metaphorical he doesn’t say.
On another occasion he says that “you walked around wearing blinkers” and attributes it to “the limited conditions thrust upon you by the lower vibrations.” (8)
He predicts that the veil will be lifted and we’ll be illumined.
“You are in strange times to what you normally experience, but as the veil is lifted the Light will illuminate your mind with the truth of who you really are.” (9)
Sananda tells us that acceptance of the veil entails accepting pain and density.
“You have, as all have, accepted limitations and veils and accepted more of the pain of life and the density that exists here into yourself and into your body. This will be released.” (10)
He gets a little closer to the mechanism by saying that “the veil that still lingers [is] made up of lingering fears and false beliefs and disappointment for unfulfilled dreams.” (11)
So we know the kinds of emotions that impact the body and cause the shutting down or dumbing down that forms part of the veil.
However he doesn’t tell us the mechanism whereby pain, fear and false beliefs are translated into a veil.
So it’s left to us terrestrials to suggest some of the mechanisms. Here is one. The creation of vasanas, leading to the rise of bands of muscular tension in the body, lower awareness. The lowering of awareness has a veiling effect.
Does the DNA play a role in the veiling overall? Is there an etheric veiling mechanism of which we have no knowledge? How do the etheric and physical mechanisms interact? We don’t know.
And that’s as good as it gets on the subject of what the mechanism is that the veil represents.
