As the King of Siam said to Anna: “This is a puzzlement.”
As a follower of the path of awareness, I want to be aware of what I do that doesn’t work for me. I can no longer add to my burden by doing things that don’t work.
But as a communicator, I follow a quite different direction. There’s so much to do that work seems never-ending.
But there’s a catch here and its a blockage to my energy flow and presence. And I’m illustrating it in case you find yourself facing a similar dilemma as the Tsunami of Love begins.
Whenever I create anything being “never-ending,” I engage in a form of victim story. And whenever I do that, I end up in regret and misery.
And I take away from myself my presence and my power. So it isn’t healthy for me to make something “never-ending.”
If I’m to be a success in my mission (as opposed to you in yours), then what becomes clear to me is that this pattern of being a victim of circumstances doesn’t serve me any longer. It sounds like a boundary issue and it suggests a hidden story.
In my case, the story is called “Work is Never-Ending.”
There’s something I’ve done or haven’t done in my past that “causes” me to work insatiably.
And immediately I see where it comes from. You’ve heard my story. Lazy, no-good, good-for-nothing and I’m still proving that criticism wrong? This is an example of behaviour skewed by a criticism from early life. A classic vasana.
The Boss keeps telling me to “dig deeper.” So here I go.
I take the stand that “never-ending” work no longer serves me and I no longer support it.
Although I don’t understand every aspect of the Tsunami of Love, I very much do see the necessity of stopping whatever is “victim” in me if I want to fully open to the waves of love.
