The riots in Los Angeles dominate the news again today.

If you fell asleep in the spring of 2020 and woke up just yesterday and turned on cable news, you would not know any time had passed.

Democrats and the media are like a broken record, referring to the current riots in Los Angeles as ‘peaceful protests’ just like they did in 2020. It’s like they can’t help themselves, they just fall back into this talking point automatically whenever the left acts out violently.

Just a few weeks ago, people in liberal media were claiming that they were somehow mislead about Joe Biden’s mental decline, but that they were never going to let that happen again.

Now they are on TV doing the exact same thing with the riots – Don’t believe your eyes and ears, listen to us, this is peaceful.

The Washington Free Beacon reports:

Liberal pundits and politicians spent the weekend insisting that the anti-ICE riots across Los Angeles were peaceful, even as split-screen footage showed cars engulfed in flames.

“At this point, this has been very peaceful. It has been tense at some points, but we haven’t seen any violence happening here,” CNN correspondent Julia Vargas Jones said as the network showed rioters on motorbikes circling a car on fire in the middle of an intersection.

A similar video was shown on CNN as Rep. Nanette Barragán (D., Calif.) accused the Trump administration of “targeting peaceful protests.”

Riots erupted in Los Angeles over the weekend in response to ICE raids in the city. Agitators shut down the 101 Freeway, attacked law enforcement, set cars ablaze, and looted businesses. President Donald Trump sent in the National Guard in response.

Former vice president Kamala Harris accused the Trump administration of “stoking fear” and said the “demonstrations in defense of our immigrant neighbors have been overwhelmingly peaceful.”

This is 100 percent pure propaganda. Again, it’s exactly like the Joe Biden situation. The same people, doing the same kind of gaslighting.

In the second video, 0:10-0:15, notice the man who gets the vandal to stop vandalizing the bus shelter. Is he an Antifa official, directing the operation?
