There may be hope for America’s future, after all.
While college students have become known for being woke and are often shown in the media doing nothing but leading protests, one group of students has given up spring break to help rebuild homes in North Carolina where many areas are still reeling from Hurricane Helene.
This is great experience for these students, too. Everyone should learn how to build things and some basic construction.

Winston Salem State students are among the wave of volunteers helping communities in western North Carolina, spending their spring break hard at work to help people rebuild.
“I can’t imagine what these people went through with having everything they had just lost in the blink of an eye without any control of theirs,” said Cayla Parrott, a sophomore.
They’re part of a ministry called Chi Alpha that can be found on multiple college campuses. They’re working alongside nonprofits like Building Compassion, which has been organizing those efforts.
“We’ve got other teams that are down closer to the river bottoms, and they’re literally doing all kinds of different work,” said Frank Frankovsky of Building Compassion. “From standing up retaining walls that got undermined to rebuilding trailer homes and stuff, just whatever the community needs.
It’s been almost six months since Helene made landfall, and there’s plenty of work that still needs to be done.

America needs more of this. President Trump should encourage more young people to get involved in this way.
Soros Comes for Schumer – Dem Leader Faces End of His Career as Soros-Backed Org Marks Him for Elimination

An activist group backed by progressive financier George Soros called on Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat from New York, to step down from leading the party in the chamber.
Schumer has received criticism from within his own coalition for allowing the advance of a Republican bill to fund the federal government, including from Indivisible, a nationwide activist network that has taken over $7.6 million from Soros’ Open Society Foundation since 2017, according to a report from the New York Post.
Ezra Levin, the co-executive director of Indivisible, said in a March 15 statement that Schumer leading “the charge to wave the white flag of surrender” means he should stop serving as Democratic leader.
“The passage of this dangerous Republican funding bill is a travesty. The ongoing administrative coup led by Donald Trump and Elon Musk is a constitutional crisis,” Levin said.
“The authoritarians stripping away our rights and trying to loot the government to enrich the billionaires are a five-alarm fire,” he continued. “Indivisibles across the country have been organizing furiously to fight back – that’s where they want to focus. Yesterday, Chuck Schumer gravely undermined their work.”
Levin said that a vote among 1,600 Indivisible group leaders found that 82 percent of leaders in New York wanted to “call for Schumer to step aside as Senate Minority Leader.”
Meanwhile 91 percent of Indivisible leaders nationwide want the same.
“We thank him for his service, but we need new leadership in this moment and we understand to get there we need a chorus of support for change,” Levin added.
“This is a painful decision, the gravity of which we take very seriously. Senator Schumer has contributed to and led many important accomplishments that Indivisible is grateful for. But with our democracy on the line, he let us, the country, and the Democratic Party down,” he continued.
“We organize local activists in communities in every state in the country – regular people dedicating themselves to opposing Trumpism and preserving the promise of a functioning democracy. And they deserve a Democratic party, and leadership of that party, who’s willing to fight as hard as they are.”
A source in the Trump administration reacted to the controversy in a comment to the Post. “The Democrats will have an important question to answer in the coming days: Who actually leads their party — Schumer or Soros?” the official asked.
Emily Tuttle, the spokeswoman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, which works to elect Republicans to the House, quipped that “Democrats are eating their own — selling out to the far-left crazies and mega-donors who are funding clown show protests across the country.”
She added that “it’s painfully obvious that George Soros doesn’t believe that ‘Leaders’ Jeffries or Schumer have the backbone to lead.”

As someone who studied to be a historian, I’m aware of the shortcomings of the next genre of video.
However, as someone who also studied to be a sociologist, I find the interpretation – as long as it’s recognized as an interpretation – fascinating.
I may post a few more, as long as we all keep in mind that this is someone’s view of what happened rather than, say, security-camera footage, which can usually be more relied on for truthfulness. It’s sociological rather than strictly historical.
JD Vance has investigated a corrupt judge (Judge Marshall Davis) and then slowly unravels his case in the course of defending his client. In the end, FBI agents seated in the courtroom arrest Judge Davis on charges of treason and corruption.
This doesn’t take the place of accurate reporting, but it is suggestive and inspiring.
Military Arrests Radical Leftist Judge James Boasberg

White Hats on Wednesday arrested a Deep State federal judge for treason after obtaining evidence proving Barack Hussein Obama “instructed” him to issue orders enjoining the President to stop deporting illegal aliens.
On Saturday, D.C. Judge James Boasberg, who was presiding over a lawsuit challenging deportation, signed two rulings aimed at blocking Trump from removing Venezuelan Tren de Aragua and MS-13 gang members from US soil. Boasberg, an Obama appointee, is among a bevy of radical justices hell-bent on thwarting the President’s agenda, which includes banishing illegals and eliminating fraud and wasteful spending.
Following Boasberg’s ruling, the President on social media called for his impeachment, writing that lower judiciaries had no authority to usurp the Executive Branch. The Left acrimoniously accused Trump of purging the Judicial Branch of judges who disagreed with him.
It’s unclear whether the President’s reformed Department of Justice and the FBI opened a case on Boasberg, but JAG, having observed firsthand how bloodthirsty illegals behaved at Guantanamo Bay, felt that any judge protecting them must have an agenda. Ostensibly with Rear Admiral Lea Reynolds’ consent, JAG quietly launched its own investigation, and quickly discovered that Boasberg had kept in touch with Obama and had ties to Act Blue, a liberal domestic terrorist organization masquerading as a harmless political action committee.
“Within 24 hours, we found out Boasberg got money from Act Blue and was told by Obama to injunct POTUS’ deportation efforts. The evidence was compelling enough to issue a warrant charging Boasberg with treason,” a JAG source told Real Raw News.

Small Business Administration Administrator Kelly Loeffler announced on Friday that the government body she presides over will cut 43% of its staff and end Joe Biden’s wasteful and expansive social policy agenda.
The former US Senator made the announcement Friday on X.
Joe Biden left the SBA bleeding money and desperately mismanaged like every other agency he touched.
Today, pursuant to EO 14210(Link is external), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced its plans for an agency-wide reorganization. To return to its founding mission of empowering small businesses, and to restore accountability to taxpayers, the agency will reduce its workforce by 43% – ending the expansive social policy agenda of the prior Administration, eliminating non-essential roles, and returning to pre-pandemic staffing levels.
The strategic reorganization will begin a turnaround for the agency by restoring the efficiency of the first Trump Administration, as well as its focus on promoting small businesses. Core services to the public, including the agency’s loan guarantee and disaster assistance programs, as well as its field and veteran operations, will not be impacted.
The SBA’s reorganization will enable the agency to become a dynamic and efficient force for small businesses, manufacturing, and job creation in support of President Trump’s economic agenda. SBA will refocus its resources on the core missions of supplying capital, fostering innovation, supporting veteran small business owners, providing field support, and delivering timely disaster relief.

Key features of SBA’s reorganization include:
- Promoting business formation and growth by shifting resources to expand capital formation functions and personnel, removing the emphasis from partisan programs of the past.
- Prioritizing risk management and fraud prevention by centralizing these functions within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, in the effort to restore integrity to agency programs, audits, and financial statements.
- Expanding disaster response support by transferring disaster loan servicing functions and additional personnel into the Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience. Additionally, the agency will cross-train field office personnel to support disaster recovery efforts.
- Eliminating redundant pandemic-era positions associated exclusively with processing pandemic-era loans within the Office of Capital Access.
- Ensuring that 30% of the agency is located in the field, by decentralizing services and working to better serve Main Streets across America.
- Promoting veteran businesses and American manufacturing by preserving existing staffing levels within the Office of Veterans Business Development and the Office of Manufacturing and Trade.
- Exempting key accountability offices from reductions at this time including the Office of Advocacy and the Office of the Inspector General.
Much of the reorganization is targeted to reverse the broad and costly expansion of the SBA under the Biden Administration. Since the pandemic, the agency has nearly doubled in size, in part to support a suite of new progressive programs like the Green Lender Initiative, the Community Navigator Pilot Program, and DEI activities. This partisan agenda, promoted at the expense of America’s small businesses, predictably led to the deterioration of SBA’s services and financial performance. An estimated $200 billion in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Covid Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) fraud was ignored for four years. Meanwhile, irresponsible Biden-era changes to the 7(a) loan program generated(Link is external) rising defaults and delinquencies, as well as negative cash flow for the first time in over a decade – which will have future, multi-year consequences for the program.
