North Carolina outback is a “war zone”
I was working on some SM content for one of our listings last year and the sky was not cooperating. I’m in Austin, this was shot in Lakeway. No editing or enhancements on these. Never have I seen a sky do this. 8/16/23 It almost looked like sun rays, but sun was on opposite side. pic.twitter.com/ISshzwMEFr

An Ohio family felt the need to provide some relief to High Country farmers in the wake of the destruction from Hurricane Helene.
Brother and sister Kelton Keller and Kaylee Keller began the relief effort after texting with a friend who once lived near them, but now lives here asking what was needed. The reply was hay. A social media post on the family-run business, Keller Meats, really ramped up the support to get hay and other supplies and funds.
In the initial hours of the post, they raised $10,000 which then increased to $50,000 the two said in an interview with WataugaOnline. Kaylee pointed out that including hay, feed, tack, personal care, medical supplies, etc., that amount is close to $150,000
Interview with organizers Kaylee Keller and Kelton Keller of Medina County, Ohio.
The Keller’s, of Medina County, Ohio, along with friends and supporters left Ohio around 2 am and the 50-vehicle convoy arrived in Deep Gap at 2:45 pm.
Watauga County Cooperative Extension will be hosting Hay Days on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1pm – 6pm. For more information visit this link.
