The soot covering his face didn’t tell the whole story.
Coupled with the amount of rainfall and the number of firefighters climbing out of trucks one could surmise it was good news.
The graveled parking areas around the one store town were filling up with hotshot trucks rather quickly. They were all coming off the mountain at the same time.
Maybe it was a shift in crews. Maybe they had actually got the fire put out. I didn’t ask. They looked tired and it was dinner time.
We were at the base of Mt Adams in Washington State.
It is August and the peak of fire season.
The fires had been burning on Mt Adams long enough to threaten evacuations of the nearby town of Trout lake.
The highway up and over was closed.
The previous week we had been concerned about having to cancel our camping plans. We prayed for rain.
We prayed for rain for all of the wildfire stricken areas.
Just south of here, Oregon state has had devastating fires as well as California.
The weather conditions were not ideal for our outing but they were a Godsend and no one was complaining.
Our camping plans were actually a small part of a much larger event.
Washington State Connecting Consciousness group was hosting a West coast invitational to James Gilliland’s ECETI ranch.
ECETI stands for Enlightened Contact with Extraterrestrial Intelligence.
This special place is the brainchild and heartfelt manifestation of James Gilliland .
You may also find him on his podcast, ‘As you wish talk radio’.
Over the years, James, with his group of hardworking volunteers, have created a down to earth way to experience the presence of Galactics, elementals, orbs and even the elusive Sasquatch.
From this place you can see the tall majestic Mount Adams in clear observatory view.
At night the mountain comes to life with ufo activity as lights come and go at some very specific locations.
The sky is filled with multiple sightings as the mountain draws an incredible amount of traffic.
The vibrational frequency at the ranch is high and invites many magical energies that love to mingle with the guests.
Special infrared and night vision goggles reveal multiple orbs entertaining themselves and appear close enough to touch.
This weekend the Connecting Consciousness group of Washington State held their 3rd annual visit to the ranch.
With much gratitude for this destination available to us, we extended our invitation to include CC members from other west coast states.
We had an amazing time with those that were able to travel into the ‘boonies’ of Washington.
Connecting Consciousness is a spiritual group created by Simon Parkes and his wife Rebecca.
They are located in the UK of Great Britain but have expanded worldwide.
All over the globe people have heard and been drawn to join Connecting Consciousness because of their message.
The message is to bring together people who share Spiritual values based in peace, health and freedom.
And it’s free.
This simple message speaks to the hearts of people all over the world.
During the onset of the covid crisis Simon put out the offer for people to connect through his organization.
While the whole world was shutting down, the outpouring of kindred hearts joining CC was almost overwhelming.
The Parkes were on to something big. I don’t even think they were expecting such a massive response.
Our response to acts of tyranny was to come together in unity.
The tyranny we have faced for eons finally gave us that push but, it was finding love through heartfelt connection that has become our glue.
Since then the structure of the organization has evolved into a global network of volunteers.
We are creating opportunities for open hearted conversations, raising vibrations daily and spreading the love within our communities with community service projects.
This type of group may not be for everyone but for those that are interested further information can be found at Connectingconsciousness.org or Simonparkes.org.
The ‘Boonies’ of ECETI is a sovereign piece of land surrounded by tall pines, firs and cedars.
Fresh mountain air resonates with the essences of nature.
Trickling water can be heard as a small creek flows into the White Salmon river.
Ranch animals can be heard as cattle lowing or hens cackling.
Deer roam through the compound freely and without fear. Fawns kick up some dust as they scurry to catch up with mom.
And the mountain herself stands watchful. majestic in white of ice and snow with blue tones of distant trees covered with wisps of clouds.
The view is always moving as the clouds seemingly serve a purpose that is not always transparent to us humans.
The weekend did not fail in generating connectedness amongst strangers yet again.
We arrive from all places scattered and left with a sense of unity in mission and purpose.
Not all of us may be clear on what our mission or purpose in life are specifically, but we spent time working together toward a goal of enjoying the weekend,
This was enough.
We helped each other meet our basic needs of food, water, comfort and conversation.
We created joy.
This alone creates a sense of community and gives us validation that there is a higher purpose.
There is a mission in our hearts that can be found when reflected by the vibration of others.
This sense of belonging is enjoyed by humans, nature, the above and beyond as well, as we all come together, connected in life, as well as in consciousness.
Back to the beginning, as the firefighters came into town.
They worked hard at putting out the fires. They work hard in a joint effort as mission and purpose.
At the end of the battle they may not get to hear the thanks or feel the gratitude from all of those unknown faces.
At the end of a long day they may be too tired to stand on ceremony of any kind.
They may only want to find sustenance and peaceful rest.
But perhaps they already know. And that’s why they came.
They may not know how the battle will be won but they showed up and poured their heart and soul into it.
They gave of themselves in order to help others.
In this way they already have heard the calling to be of service.
One does not need to know exactly how the battle will be won.
One only needs to believe that their service will contribute to the only possible outcome.
At some point it will be done. At some point it will be won.
We may or may not be on the front lines fighting piercing flames.
But without us making our plans for gatherings, living in nearby communities, roaming as deer or flocking as chickens, where would such purpose lie?
We all connect with each other in some way somehow.
We don’t just find our purpose. We are the purpose.
Spending a few hours looking up gave me a reflective perspective.
What I saw looking back at me was everything.
There truly is no separation when looking at the planet from a ‘galactic’ point of view.
Come, join, serve or just be.
We are connected all the same.
