Hello Beloveds,
As Joy and I enjoy a family trip to Alaska, I wanted to share a deeply inspired poem that I channeled. It is offered to stir the curiosity of deeper discovery in whatever way it is meant to awaken in you. The insights woven throughout this poem are meant to be a spontaneous stop sign along your soul’s journey. A momentary pause inspiring a renewal of perspective that can be as short-lived or long-lasting as you desire.
It’s certainly not meant to be something to judge yourself against or a goal to work hard at implementing. It is merely an invitation to see what life may reveal when daring to witness the nature of insatiable hunger and how miraculously it transforms when not assuming its your job to constantly feed it.
As always, please receive from this poem all that resonates in support of the relief you wholeheartedly deserve, while discarding what doesn’t seem to match. May the following words guide you along an adventure of possibility to discover the unexpected gifts here to be received when daring to stop seeking all you desire — even for just one moment in time:
If You Stop Seeking All You Desire
by Matt Kahn
If you stop seeking all you desire, you invite the projector in the theater of life to stop reflecting images of a brighter tomorrow, in order for that joy, to be found nowhere else but here.
If you stop seeking all you desire, no person stands in the way of better experiences or feeds the seduction toward the next shiny object in view.
If you stop seeking all you desire, you will no longer use the past as a proving ground for personal blame. For there is nothing in your past that justifies why new things haven’t entered, when it’s simply the case of first enjoying the dinner life made for you before dessert will be served.
If you stop seeking all you desire, no character in your play portrays the role of disappointment. Especially since, each person’s mission is only to be found guilty of being themselves, where your invitation is taking the time to intimately know each layer, so you are fully aware of the journey you sign up for when welcoming them in.
If you stop seeking all you desire, there is no other treasure to be found, other than the purest of gold found deep within yourself.
If you stop seeking all you desire, you will neither be intimidated by divinity, nor turn on yourself when the lights of life’s stage shine brightly on you. For it is only through the hunger we develop by assuming better experiences are any place but here that prevents the deepest dive of uncovering the holiest of holy truths.
If you stop seeking all you desire, you will free yourself from a prison whose bars and door were only as a solid as your belief in confinement.
If you stop seeking all you desire, there are no losses to endure, no gains to promote, no defeats to process, and no wins to hide behind. There is only the precious life force energy of all that is, being given and received, as it is shaped into the fate of each miraculous moment. These are the magnificent shifts that occur, if you stop seeking all you desire. Even for just one moment in time.
In every breath, the choice is always yours. Choose well, Beloved. Choose well.
All for Love,
Matt
