A person is who the Divine honors through lifetimes of loving service. They are a wondrous human creation that offers space for the Divine to know itself and grow into itself throughout a journey of ever-expanding uniqueness.
A person has never been judged by the Divine for being exactly as they were created to be. The Divine has never had a less than perfect experience while knowing itself as a person.
The Divine knows exactly when a person is meant to shift, honoring all the experiences that must occur in such a precise order, including the time spent in each pattern and emotional state—before the new light dawns.
The Divine lives out the very path it created for the person to navigate, while carrying them through each moment, held by the unconditional love that births endless light into form.
The Divine doesn’t have amnesia, nor has it forgotten its true self in any way. For even the remembrance of divinity is another dream the Divine enjoys, all for the sake of coming home to itself by imagining it somehow went somewhere else.
Since the Divine lives in reverent loving service to all people, and Divinity remains the central focus on the spiritual journey, perhaps our next big spiritual step is including the person in our honoring of the Divine.
May we support the needs of the person without judgment.
May we serve the healing needs of the person we personify without fast-tracking their journey or acting as our own bully or perpetual rescuer.
May we take time to get to know this person we embody, honoring all their talents, innocence, uniqueness, hopes, dreams, wounds, and fears as the totality of Divine love saying ‘yes’ to being it all—one humbling moment at a time.
Knowing, once we have personally met ourselves as the Divine always does, it becomes easier to extend this depth of respect to all people, regardless of the maturity level revealed by their behavior.
I love the person you are.
Through these words, I hope the gift of today will help you find even more to love about the person you’ve come to be.
May we dive deeply into the beautifully spiraling mess of our own neurotic human dance, allowing the Divine to meet us as we are.
This is why you are reading these words.
This is how the light of your divinity reminds you, “Not to worry. I’ve got you.”
In honor of the person you are who shines so Divinely, I love you.
All for Love,
Matt
