If I had the whole world assembled in a workshop, livestreamed, and I wanted us all to focus on doing one thing, what would that one thing be?
To love.
Turn to your partner on your left and just look at him or her, allowing your love to play upon your face. Without speaking, nod and change places. Person on your left, look at you….
I push my chair back to rest a moment and look at all the colors I’ve created in my room …
… something in me resonates and I find my mood elevated. I’ve never much looked at colors or been surrounded in them before….
As I find my mood elevated, I recapture the love that I knew so well in 2015.
And I realize once again that this is what’s missing in our world. This love muscle is the one that needs exercising.
We need to build or rebuild a culture of love and cooperation. Both of these seem to be “missing in action” in our global society. We appear to have allowed our heart muscle to atrophy in recent years. Small wonder with what we’ve had to endure.
Just as my hobby collection spans all colors, so our society includes all colors. Each has its place and right to be happy and prosper.
But wait a minute. Enough, already. Color only applies to the physical body and not to the spirit inside it. Yes, we retain our physical characteristics on the other side until we change them, but those characteristics have nothing to do with who we are.
The same applies to anything else you can name. Religion, gender, nationality, etc. All of them apply only to the physical setting or the physical body. You can’t name the eternal. You can’t describe real love.
As if in agreement, a cloud of love builds up inside of me and I forget about anything else but enjoying it. The truth will set you free … again.
