Raging Fires in Eastern WA and Only the Houses are Burning?

This is what GAoG editor Digger Barr is driving home to, from Bellingham, WA. Fires raging all through the Spokane Valley, near where she lives.

But wait a minute. Isn’t this the lush Northwest temperate rainforest? And yet the only thing burning are the houses…?

Have we been Maui’ed again?
