I was only halfway through this video when the inspiration to write an intro for it made me quit watching to finish later. It was pretty wonderful for me to see these two expressing how they each feel about knowing what’s going on in the world from a geo-political perspective.
We’re all aware of how awful and grim things appear to be at the moment, and we likely have already chosen our position on how deep an understanding of it that we can tolerate.
What we may not have in our possession as yet is the permission slip to stand exactly where we care to be on the topics at hand. I fully understand taking the position of not wanting to know.
I have a dear friend of many years, an in-person friend, and one that I’ve experienced the most intense Life Moments with, ultimately acting in support of one another. It’s a blessing to have such a friend, yet we’re quite different in our world views. We really never were inspired to discuss world events before covid happened, and now that we’re over the crunchy two years between then and now, we’ve agreed that we don’t need to have such discussions at this point, either.
The thing that shifted the weirdness between us was her confession that her raison d’être is to make art. For her to have a good look at the ugly truths that I literally spend my days at least skimming over, she would be unable to do what she’s here to do…live out her Dharma. I get it. I respect that. She’s a professional at it. We’ve agreed to accept one another’s preferred vantage point, and to just have the conversations that we’ve always had.
It works, and in maintaining that connection through conflict, we foil team dark’s plans BIG TIME.
At this point, my own level of tolerance for deep diving into most any news piece these days has become suddenly quite shallow. It’s why the focus on my Buy Me A Coffee page is mostly on memes, one of the most palatable forms of taking in what’s going on at the moment.
I do want to follow current events, though. It’s actually my guidance, interest and passion to do so. It wouldn’t be such a draw for me unless it was Divinely guided. As such, my team keeps me from going places that wouldn’t be in my best interest to go, and at the same time, I practice my own Mastery by not letting myself get sucked down into the low frequency soup of collective human emotion through my research.
That ability to observe, and to be in the world and not of it…we all have it. It may be that our Mastery muscles serve each of us in different ways. We who follow the news carry no greater or lesser light than those whose focus is on the spiritual, esoteric and artistic alone. The point is that we don’t need to judge one another for having a different way of being in this world. There will always be common ground for us to stand together on.
In the video, Arn eventually gets around to extending an invitation to join Zingdad in monthly “Full Moon Gatherings of the Tribe of Light.” In support of the Divine Light agenda, Zingdad is also launching a 1-on-1 offering called “ Heart-to-Heart with Zingdad.”
