I have tremendous respect for the Arcturian Group, via Marilyn Raffaele.
This week they knocked the ball out of the park – for me, that is. Half their message was on vasanas (or core issues) and the habitual reaction patterns they give rise to.
The reason I’m so happy is that most spiritual sources make no reference to the matter. So every nugget becomes a find!
The reason for their message is that they see “the struggle of so many to remain objective in the midst of a world that seems to have gone mad with people acting out in ways never seen or experienced before.”
Yes, it is a continuous struggle. We’re lobbing charges and counter-charges at each other and, underneath that, there really is a war going on.
The Arcturian Group wants us lightworkers to detach from what’s happening – be aware of it but not engage with it – and just observe.
“Stay informed, while not aligning with the energy of that which you are being informed about unless you are guided to become involved. Some are guided to be a part of the chaos, but they are those who have attained a consciousness that allows them to work from a detached level and bring Light into situations. Never doubt that there are many Lightworkers in the trenches at this time but this work is not for most.” (1)
I am finding that a difficult line to walk.
The only thing I’d add is to align with the Light, not only in ships above the Earth or in the invisible realms but also on the ground.
The military/civilian Alliance for me represents the Light as boots on the ground. There may be varying shades of disagreement of who that includes. The Alliance knows itself. (2)
The Arcturian Group also wants us to self-examine during this time of rest, which the Mother, through Linda Dillon, calls “the Pause.”
“Examine your beliefs honestly, sincerely, and without judgement, dear ones, for this is the purpose of the present down times. Go within and discover what you may still hold as being true, real, necessary, unchangeable, and important, etc., and then decide if you wish to continue making it a part of your consciousness.” (3)
Well, of course this is delightful for a person on the awareness path to hear. I welcome having advice on how to pursue it, what to look at, etc.
And yes: “…then decide if you wish to continue making it a part of your consciousness.” This process of rechoosing is the basis of what I’ve been calling reparenting. Thank you for addressing that as well, Arcturians!
Then came the pièce de résistance for me
“Many three-dimensional ideas have served well and continue to serve some, but because you have shifted into a deeper awareness these same things will no longer function for you as they once did. For a while the mind will continue to express what it is familiar with–judgement and criticism, fear and negativity, longing and desires. Simply allow the old programming to flow through, aware of what is happening, and giving it no power. There is a bible statement that says ‘Let the heathen rage.’”
Let’s take this one step at a time.
“Many three-dimensional ideas have served well and continue to serve some, but because you have shifted into a deeper awareness these same things will no longer function for you as they once did.”
Among the third-dimensional ideas that have served well are vasanas or core issues, which are in place to see that we need never experience the traumatic feelings again associated with the original painful incident. (4) They start out as the proverbial guardian and end up as the proverbial guard.
You saw living proof of rechoosing: My vasana of hostility no longer served me. I saw the cost of it and changed my vote. (5) Is this not exactly what the Arcturians are talking about?
“For a while the mind will continue to express what it is familiar with – judgement and criticism, fear and negativity, longing and desires.”
Yes, even though we’ve left the vasana behind now, we still behave as if we haven’t, right? Why?
Because the mechanism the vasana gives rise to is habitual, automatic behavior patterns. These continue to fire and, if we identify with them after the vasana has gone and we continue to act as if the vasana were alive. This may be why we have such trouble escaping our vasanas, because the habitual reaction patterns keep us walking in the vasana’s groove.
“Simply allow the old programming to flow through, aware of what is happening, and giving it no power. There is a bible statement that says: ‘Let the heathen rage.’”
Yes, that’s what to do about it. If it were a vasana we’re faced with, I’d recommend the upset clearing process. (6) Initially I recommend the same for a behavior pattern.
Just be with it and observe. This too shall pass. And hopefully it passes without us having harmed a relationship.
Observe it rather than acting it out, seeing things through its filter, or projecting it onto others. Doing so, we learn much about it and come closer to the time when we can dissolve it by seeing the total truth of it.
“Anything a person deems to be necessary for happiness and success represents belief in a false god.”
This is an entirely separate discussion! Let me leave this statement till tomorrow.
