The Buddha, the Wayfarer, through Linda Dillon, channel for the Council of Love, April 2013, explained the blessing and virtue of wisdom to us.
He welcomed us to sit with him beneath the Bodhi Tree, to gaze across the Universe, the multiverse, the omniverse honouring the truth of each pebble and grain of sand, each ant moving in harmony with the Universe and the unfoldment of its plan.
Understanding
this reverence for all life
is to anchor and integrate wisdom.
The Buddha told us compassion and wisdom, which are both the dark colour of maroon like the rose, above, are very important to our existence in any dimension or reality, any Universe.
The Divine Qualities form a beautiful tapestry — there’s not one blessing and virtue without the other — helping us understand our inter-connectedness with everything.
Wisdom is Respect and Reverence
Within the understanding of wisdom is respect, a word that the Buddha says is almost forgotten here on Gaia:
“This word of respect is bandied about and it is misused most often because you use it to infer as if you are honouring and giving someone their due.
“But too often, my friends, the word does not match the energy, the intention, the action or the behaviour.
“So, I start with you this day by speaking of this respect and I would like to use an interchangeable term for you to gather what I am referring to.
“I wish you to think or comprehend respect as reverence, and it is that fervent regard within all of your being, anchored within your heart and your heart consciousness.
“It is that reverence for life and when I use the word ‘life’ I mean all existence from the ant, to the beetle, to the elephant, to your star brothers and sisters, and to your sacred self.
“Do you hold yourself in the reverence that we hold you in?
“Do you hold yourself with the deepest regard that is possible?
“Or are you dismissive of Who You Are?” (1)
Wisdom is Knowing of the Divine Plan
The Buddha goes on to say that, without reverence and regard for our sacred being, for the Truth of Who We Are, the virtue of wisdom, “the sense of the knowing of the Divine Plan,” the rightness of unfoldment can elude us.
Lack of reverence for self is a lack of self-love and self-worth, the basis of the entrenched belief system that humanity has used to construct societies not of love with for thousands of years.
Frustrated because what we construct in time and space is not static, the Buddha told us, wisdom is knowing that often where something belongs in this moment doesn’t necessarily mean it’s there forever, that moving things around, keeping things in circulation allows for Infinite creation and creativity.
We demonstrate our flexibility with this knowing.
Contemplating Our Selves with Great Reverence
As the Buddha observes us, he told us we only “glance” at our self.
He asked us to contemplate our selves deeply, with great reverence:
To comprehend the Wonder of Who We Are
without limitation, without separation anxiety,
within the grander unfoldment of our Eternal Self
and our expression of that Infinite, Eternal Self in our Now.
I see now stigmatization of our most disenfranchised beings, the homeless, the addicted, the elderly, stems from our lack of regard for our self.
Dear friend, Tom, emailed saying he attended a workshop many years ago with Paul Tuttle who channels a being called, Raj. Tom paraphrases here a comment made by Raj:
“In many ways the homeless are closer to God than all of you who live in your comfortable homes.”
May we come to truly revere our selves and extend this reverence to all living beings, especially our most disenfranchised.
The Buddha said, if he cannot give us anything else except this knowing to hold our selves in great reverence — “this grain of sand to carry away” — it would be sufficient, that this would make his heart sing.
Everything in our Universe
is a reflection of One.
That wisdom,
that reverence
alone will sustain us.
