Archangel Michael said recently that the essence of our financial service is stewardship. I’d like to take a deeper look at that concept.
In this important time, Jesus says, “leadership is stewardship.” The example he likes to give is that of the shepherd.
“Yes, I still go back to the examples that I have used of being the shepherd. Because sometimes you lead from behind, and sometimes you lead from the front. But it is through the quality of your being.” (1)
The quality of our being – enhanced by all the clearing and cleansing we’ve done.
Archangel Michael reveals that those who are successful at being stewards will have great influence:
“Those who are in a position of stewardship, of beginning projects that lead the way to the building and the re-creation of what Nova Earth is truly about … [will] become the spokesbeings for many. ” (2)
So that’s the plan.
We’re not the only ones being asked to serve as stewards. St. Germaine sees his own role as master of the Violet Flame also as stewardship. Of his mission he says:
“If I have but one purpose in my sacred stewardship with the violet flame, and the I AM presence, it is to reach all beings, not simply on Earth but everywhere. But first on Earth. Because you are the first who are going through this process.” (3)
One form or theater of stewardship is not more important than another, he tells us:
It is just as important that an atrocity against one person that is within your sphere – what you can think of as your immediate environment as your community – that level of brutality or injustice or cruelty is just as important as sending energy to Syria. Do not assign greater value because the magnitude of the issue seems greater. (4
The notion that one is the steward of someone else’s wealth implies the surrendering of the need to be at the top of the pyramid, independent, one’s own boss, etc. That in itself points to a level of modesty and humility, which in turn points to a level of detachment from worldly things.
I’ve worried, when I was planning the Michaelangelo Fund, that I might be unable to find someone who’d be willing to bring someone else’s vision into reality. I worried that few people could be found who didn’t want it to be their show, their thing, their creation.
The steward, to do their job properly, has to be willing to carry out the wishes of the person they serve. The more faithful they are, the better the steward they’re judged to be.
But they have to be free of personal attachment to that which they watch over.
The desire for what AAM once called “profile” (5) will kill our efforts. Why is that? Because both the desire and the achievement of it result in the growth of the separative “I” or ego. The ego is exactly the aspect of ourselves that we’re preparing to leave behind.
Implicit in the steward’s faithful fulfilment of their duties is their transcendence of ego. Their mien is calm, balanced, and peaceful, St. Germaine says.
“My beloved friends, the peace that’s within you, that is the starting and finishing point of surrender, of balance, of stewardship. It is to be fully in the now and not in the now at all.” (6)
“Not in the now at all” meaning not involving oneself in Third-Dimensional drama and trauma, but remaining neutral and balanced.
Their satisfaction comes from helping others (and helping themselves in moderation). Their fondest desire is for the whole world to be happy and well and satisfied.
