At every stage of the journey, I have unexpectedly met an exquisite quality of light I’ve come to know as grace. Not to diminish its exceptional elegance, but it has been spiritual fairy dust in my life, bringing goodness to everything it touches. Familiar to us all – even though invisible to the physical eye – grace is a quality best described as merciful, generous, sensitive, and brilliant, yet unassuming.
Each segment of the Path – Incarnation, Authority, Discipline, Responsibility, and Commitment – releases the splendor of grace corresponding to its respective stage of development, empowering us to realize and receive it for the cultivation of our spiritual awareness and, eventually, expression in the world. Grace customarily takes whatever form is ideal for our personal needs, usually experienced as encouragement, hopefulness, optimism, invigoration, or peace, as circumstances warrant.
While mesmerized by the concept of grace, I was also perplexed about whether a conscious connection could be possible, and even beneficial. Looking into my Akashic Records using the Pathway Prayer Process, the concept of grace came to life. I learned that grace is everywhere, always. Our role is to behold it, and not to be concerned with manufacturing or strengthening grace; it already exists in complete integrity. Grace needs a witness – that’s our job. Our responsibility is to seek it out, become sensitive to qualities of elegance, refinement, sensitivity, precision, and detail and then to honor these, simply by directing our attention to the presence of grace. Our role is to recognize grace to the best of our ability in any given moment.
My next awesome realization arrived, informing me that the light does all necessary work. We need not direct, dictate, guide, or manipulate the light. The light, in its infinite wisdom, can be trusted to take the lead in all matters, spiritual and temporal.
Through the religion of my childhood, I learned that grace was a gift from God, bestowed on those who earned God’s favor through doing good works in God’s good will. In the Akasha, I sensed that grace is indeed a divine gift, available to any and all who recognize it. Striving to be good to earn the prize of grace, transformed into a new approach: becoming increasingly alert to the presence of grace – watching for it, feeling for it, as a spiritual responsibility. The universe generously provides grace, everywhere, at all times. The only requirement for access is awareness, which can be developed through a systematic, deliberate practice of paying attention. By doing so, our awareness of grace increases, soon followed by experiences of feeling supported by this sacred vibration. Think of having a small fortune saved in the bank. You can only use and benefit from the money if you know it’s there; otherwise, it’s as if it doesn’t exist! We must be attuned to the vibration of grace to enjoy its benefits. A great opportunity of the spiritual path is training ourselves to recognize the infinite blessings of grace. Once noticed, grace comes alive and radiates its light!
Over many lifetimes, we have cultivated our human ability to discern grace. We’ve lived countless incarnations of graciousness. This is not new to any of us. Consider an instant when you were responsive to another, inspired by wisdom and compassion. This was grace in action. Here’s the difference. At this time of great spiritual awakening, we have a marvelous opportunity to experience an enhanced awareness of grace, followed proportionately by heightened expression of the light of grace.
I invite you to stand in the awareness of your infinite, eternal relationship with grace, as you understand it in this moment. Be gentle. Allow yourself to be infused and inspired with the light of grace for your own uplift and then, the enrichment of everyone you encounter. Awakening to the presence of grace in your life and consciously fusing with it will transform you into an elegant agent for the light of grace. You will be the one sprinkling us with spiritual fairy dust, quickening the latent light in us all. Shine On!
