There’s an elephant in the room. Compassion fatigue.
I acknowledge here and now:
- That you are compassionate, loving and extraordinarily generous people who answer with financial support every time we have called.
- We have called monthly since January of this year and in the last 3-4 months sometimes twice a month.
- Asking this much is repetitive, routine and downright boring and I’m sure some of you are rolling your eyes and saying to yourself “Oh no, not another money post” or just skipping over the posts altogether. I get it.
Another truth, that in between financial-need posts the donations coming into the Hope Chest basically stop. It’s hard to fund the general lightworkers and meet the needs of the Nova Earth team during the month when the Hope Chest is extremely dry. Like now.
The Hope Chest creates hope by the sacred intent of the giving and receiving of money, and the intent to assist others with their needs and share what we have. Hope encompasses serenity; total and perfect calm.
The gift of heart-knowing is the presence of God.
What is money? What are the attributes of money? Money is God’s substance, has divinity, and is a sacred part of God. We humans love money. What we don’t love is the lack of money. So we practice a prosperity and abundance consciousness.
We use money to create the dreams of many that then become our reality. We move old paradigm ideas about money out and replace them with a new way of thinking about money and we embrace our own worthiness to move and live and have our being on this planet with ease and grace.
I share with you a short story of created abundance and prosperity, of God’s substance and right action.
While attending a metaphysical New-Thought Christian church and serving as treasurer on the Board of Directors I was tasked with preparing weekly bank deposits. The senior minister requested that we bless each check that we received by writing on the memo line “God Prospers Us.” So I did that.
We also blessed each week’s offerings from the pulpit with a prayer and the senior minister and I also blessed the deposit before it went to the bank.
We then adopted the practice of tithing as a church to the higher institutions, councils etc., that supported our church and senior minister with spiritual food, and within just a few days of sending out our first tithe check to one of the higher institutions something awesome happened.
The floodgates opened and money poured into the church coffers. There was money to share and money to spare. The church was then able to go ahead with many leasehold improvements and upgrades to the property. These principles really do work!
What is the solution for this compassion fatigue? The short answer to that question is small monthly voluntary subscriptions from many, many readers on this blog. Once we reach the tipping point of team sustainability and adequate funding on a monthly basis, the need for monthly posts regarding donations will disappear.
Below is a suggestion from a fellow lightworker on how we can sustain and make our very own Reval.
“Dear Fellow Light-workers,
“While I was reading about Steve’s emergence I had a thought: let’s make our own Reval right here on the Golden Age of Gaia! I visit daily and I’m sure you do too.
“I am pledging $1 a day for the GAoG team to use however they need, on themselves or for light-worker assistance. I ask you to join me.
“Steve wrote the site gets around 40,000 hits a day. I reckon a good 5 to 10,000 of those are us daily visitors.
“GAoG can help us distribute funds at the grassroots so imagine what we could all achieve if a few thousand of us contributed just a dollar a day!
“GAoG is responsible for so much growth and change – most of us have bought Vietnamese currency in readiness, so let’s bring the Reval forward for GAoG.
“Join me if you can and pledge $1 a day for Steve and co. to distribute to the community and as a “way of showing our thanks.
“Love, Andrew from Sydney.”
We are the ones we are waiting for. But … we don’t have to wait any longer. We Reval ourselves one moment at a time, one hour at a time and one day at time.
We welcome any and all donations, be they regular donations or monthly subscriptions.
For the lightworkers that are not able to donate money there is an equally important part that you can play if you wish. Lightholders, loveholders hold the space open. Be in the sacred silence with focused intent on a daily basis, knowing that we all move forward in abundance.
Holding the space was a major discipline at the church experience I’ve written about above. Lots of space was held.
There was an associate minister before each service that sat in the sanctuary and held the space before service. We as a group held the space open to receive any and all divine blessings that were available.
I would love to start a list of any lightworkers that are holding the space open for us and post it onto the blog, as a way of acknowledgement and thanks.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to send a comment through the Hope Chest email ([email protected]) and if you wish to be listed we can use your first name only or your initials, email address, etc.
For those of you who are able to donate to the Hope Chest, you may put in the note section of the screen ‘God Prospers Us’ if this resonates with you. This very powerful statement changed one church.
Let’s prosper together.
Divine love, through me blesses and multiplies all that I have, all that I give and all that I receive.
With loving gratitude….
Karen Wilson
