Sitting Bull Discusses Animal Totems on Heavenly Blessings, May 7, 2013

During this time when so many of us are seeking greater connection and guidance, Heavenly Blessings will take the opportunity to discuss the subject of totems, our spirit animal friends and guides. Our special guest will be Sitting Bull, a keeper of wisdom and guardian of the Council of Love. While in form, Sitting Bull was a Hunkpapa Lakota chief and holy man under whom the Lakota tribes united in their struggle for survival on the northern plains.

There may never have been a better time to connect with our animal allies, who come graced with profound gifts that they willingly share with humans. What may now be a sincere appreciation and love for one of God’s creatures could very well develop into a vital relationship that offers guidance, protection and community. Gaia’s children include the four leggeds, the winged ones, and those whose home is the sea. Even the insects and the crawlers have much to offer if we but enter the conversation.
