Act as If You Are an Ascended Master

Archangel Michael tells us that “one of the challenges you [will] face increasingly in these coming days is to take yourself and your awakening seriously.” (1) And how are we to do this? Matthew advises us to “know that you are god- and goddess-selves with the power to manifest whatever you strongly intend!” (2)

If we take ourselves seriously, then we’re willing to begin strongly intending. Another way of saying “strongly intending” is to say emerge, take a stand on ourselves, get serious.

Archangel Michael suggests that there is a science of the soul that can greatly assist us in this effort to take our awakening seriously: “The science of the soul will guide you along the path of soul education and spiritual evolution. The wisdom teachings of today could be called a passport for ascension.”(3)

Now that we’ve passed the 11/11/11 gateway and are taking ourselves seriously, what does the science of the soul, the wisdom teachings have to tell us about how best to prepare for Ascension?

It has been said that the Fifth Dimension can best be approached through the use of imagination. This is the intent of Ag-Agria’s advice: “Now your focus must be on what you believe these changes will mean to you and give them the highest expression you can imagine.” (4)

According to SaLuSa, making creative use of our creative imagination involves living as if we were already ascended masters. He makes this suggestion often and in slightly-different ways. On one occasion he puts it this way: “With understanding and the desire to ascend, you must as far as possible live your life as one who has already reached a higher level of consciousness.” (5)

On other occasions he puts the same thing a slightly-different way:

“Become the Being you imagine you will be.” (6)

“Become your highest interpretation of what you are as a Being of Light.” (7)

“Live to your highest understanding of what is required.” (8)

Once having imagined this exalted state, he tells us to “relate to others on that higher level.” (9) And how might that be? He explains: “Be as godly as possible and see others as part of yourself, because you are all One. Make allowances for what may be seen as the failings of others, and remember that you do not have knowledge of their life plan.” (10)

Operationally what does all this entail? It entails “becoming centered within your Light, and focusing upon whatever you believe or understand by Ascension.” (11) It requires us to “start living your truth as one who has discovered the Light both within and without.” (12) It obliges us to begin “living within your vision of what it means to you, and walking in your Light.” (13) It means to “work from your heart centre, and calmly take all things in your stride.” (14) It invites us to “apply your highest understanding to all that you do, and know that you are actually on the path to full consciousness.” (15)

This is the description of a spiritual master, is it not? It’s also the description of a spiritual adult.

What benefits will we realize from living life this way? SaLuSa tells us that, if we consent to this discipline of the imagination, “you will find great peace within, and ride out the more difficult aspects of the changes.” (16)

If we live life in this fashion, “you will be a rock amongst the shifting sands of life, and others will cling to you just to be part of your experience.” (17)

Ker-on reminds us that “through your love and dedication to others, you will then be uplifted through the Law of Attraction.” (18)

And SaLuSa assures us that, if we “live to your highest understanding of what is required,” we can “be assured that help will come [our] way.” (19)

Well, all this has whetted our appetite. But supposing we now wish to know in more detail what is involved. Has anyone provided us with detailed instruction? Archangel Michael gives us his summary of what living as if we were ascended would look like: “Pure motives and intention, a loving attitude and a desire to live your truth as it has been revealed to you, along with a desire to be of service are vital if you are to traverse the spiral of ascension successfully.” (20)

He mentions service. Elsewhere he tells us that the wider our mission, the more of our essence we’ll draw to ourselves.

“Each soul draws forth a quantity of its God-Self essence in proportion to the life’s mission it assumes for a particular incarnation. The choices you make as a physical entity with free will determines how much of your storehouse of Sacred essence you will have access to and can benefit from.

“Remember, the unconditional love you embody and project contains the formula for igniting the Sacred Creator Fire within. You must be vigilant in maintaining an energetic signature/frequency pattern of the highest resonance in order to assure a constant flow of the Sacred particles of Creator Light from the higher realms.” (21)

Matthew goes into great detail in a 2009 message on what living life this way might look like:

“Live in godly ways….

“Know that there is no separation between you and God or with all other souls in this universe. Trust your intuition, the messages from your soul to your consciousness.

“Let the love in your soul radiate out to the universe. Love, the most powerful force in the cosmos, can be expressed in limitless ways, but it must start with self-love that comprises self-respect, self-worth and self-confidence.

“Live in harmony with Nature. Quiet times in solitude—meditation, if you will—is food for the soul. So is music that inspires or soothes, and the light in a genuine smile has incalculable ripple effects for Self and those whose lives you touch.

“Forgive Self and others, see a situation from others’ perspectives, cherish beautiful memories and let go of the those that are hurtful. The people who are working for peace; preservation of the environment; humane treatment of animals; assistance to homeless, hungry and sick; or any other avenue of assistance are examples of light and love in action.

“Those motivations come from soul level, and the advocates and activists are responding to their souls’ messages.” (22)

Many outer activities we may think are necessary he tells us are really not.

“There’s no need either for esoteric studies, trips to the Himalayas, belonging to spiritual groups, attending instructional seminars or workshops, or establishing prayer rituals; however, if you feel strongly attracted to any of those and you have the time and resources to engage in them, by all means follow your heart in those matters.” (23)

Preparing for Ascension is not an outer game as much as it is an inner game. Even service is an inner game.

So the Company of Light advises us that the next stage in our growth is to live life like an Ascended Master. They tell us how to do that and what benefits it will bring. By a judicious application of our active imagination we can reach out and strive to be the highest we can attain. Doing that calls help to us and draws us to Ascension by the Law of Attraction. Having passed the 11/11/11 gateway, energies vital to our rapid evolution are allegedly now in play. Acting as if we already are Ascended Masters will help us draw these energies to us and make best use of the opportunity we face.
