In order to clear a core issue, it first has to rise to the surface.
The depth of the fraudulent activity arising from interacting with identity-thief “X Musk” or “Reeve Musk” has raised a deeply-buried issue for me … I call “core issues” vasanas, to link the discussion with Vedantic analyses. It has raised a deep vasana.
I think right now that things may be happening generally that raise our deeper vasanas to the surface for removal.
The vasana now becomes available to process or turn over to Michael to eliminate.
The one that has been stirred up here is a deep vein of worthlessness, going back to my father’s constant criticism. I’ve mostly processed my anger, but this sense of worthlessness has lain below the radar.
The worst thing my Dad ever called me was that I was a lazy, no-good good-for-nothing. That one got in.
And each new book I write, I launch with a “Take that, you XXX.” I am not lazy. Some 128 books later, I think I proved my point.
[Wipes his boots on the ground.]
This vasana is now up to awareness and awareness alone is enough to dissolve it.
I’d been saying for years that awareness is dissolutive, before coming across a passage from Jesus saying the same:
There is a third way – a third way to experience your own human emotions. The first way was to totally identify with your anger, as in the previous example. (1)
The second way was to crowd it out, to suppress it and to condemn it. (2)
The third way is to allow it – to let it be and to transcend it. That is what consciousness does. The consciousness of which I speak does not judge – it is a state of being.
It is a way of observation that is at the same time creative. Now, many spiritual traditions have said: be aware of yourself, that is sufficient. But then you wonder: how can that be? How can the mere awareness of myself bring about change in the flow of my emotions?
You have to realize that consciousness is something very powerful. It is much more than a passive registering of an emotion – consciousness is an intense creative force. (3)
It’s what lies behind Archangel Gabrielle saying:
Archangel Gabrielle: Recognizing and naming this energy, especially jealousy, dissolves it. (4)
Werner Erhard would have said what we resist persists. But what we observe with neutrality and detachment passes as fast as it’s ever going to. Simple, bare awareness speeds the guest – wanted and unwanted – on their way.

(1) It the 1960s, we might have called this creative expression.
(2) In the Nineteenth Century, they might have called this creative repression.
