The U.S. Supreme Court delivered another win for President Donald Trump, clearing the way for his executive order to downsize the bloated federal government through mass layoffs across multiple agencies.
In an unsigned order, the justices overruled a lower court decision that had blocked the president’s February 13 directive calling for “large-scale reductions in force.” That freeze came from Clinton-appointed Judge Susan Illston in Northern California, but the Supreme Court said her ruling was based on her personal view of the order’s legality, not on the actual reorganization plans, which weren’t even before the court.
“Because the Government is likely to succeed on its argument that the Executive Order and Memorandum are lawful — and because the other factors bearing on whether to grant a stay are satisfied — we grant the application,” the court said.
Even liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor joined the majority in granting the stay, though she made it clear she wasn’t endorsing the downsizing effort itself—just that it was too soon to block it.
“I join the Court’s stay because it leaves the District Court free to consider those questions in the first instance,” she wrote. “The plans themselves are not before this Court, at this stage.”
Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson dissented, blasting the decision and claiming it could lead to “mass employee terminations, widespread cancellation of federal programs and services, and the dismantling of much of the Federal Government as Congress has created it.”
She argued that Trump needed congressional approval before taking such action, saying, “Under our Constitution, Congress has the power to establish administrative agencies and detail their functions.”
But the court’s majority wasn’t buying it. They determined the administration was within its authority to begin implementing the president’s plan.
The move is part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to shrink government and restore efficiency. The Department of Government Efficiency—formerly led by Elon Musk—has been overseeing the transition.

Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted ‘madame’ for disgraced sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, confirmed to the Department of Justice during a series of sit-down meetings that she did not witness Donald Trump exhibit inappropriate behavior on the occasions that she met him.
Maxwell had met with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche for a total of nine hours late last month. According to her attorney, she had been forthright during questioning and did not “plead the fifth.”
According to ABC News’ sources, Maxwell reportedly said that Trump had “never done anything in her presence that would have caused concern.”
There is an audio recording of Maxwell’s conversation with Blanche, according to reports. ABC News noted that “public release of the transcripts could come as soon as this week.”
There is speculation that Maxwell is angling for a “pardon” or sentence “commutation” in exchange for her cooperation on naming the late Jeffrey Epstein’s clients.
She was slated to appear before Congress, but had made a number of controversial demands, including an insistence on “full immunity.”
Trump, for his part, on Wednesday reaffirmed his belief that the Epstein files are ” total bullsh*t.”
A number of major news outlets have been fueling unsubstantiated rumors about Donald Trump’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. The Wall Street Journal wrote a particularly notorious piece that attributed a strange “birthday card” allegedly sent to Epstein from Donald Trump.
It was noted that the “birthday card” bore no resemblance to Donald Trump’s writing and he never drew pictures on his stationary messages. Trump subsequently sued the Wall Street Journal for $10 billion.
“The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly” by Trump that the letter “was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued,” according to the president’s Truth Social post.

United States Special Forces are among the law enforcement bodies searching for renegade Texas legislators, all Democrats, who fled the state last weekend to avoid being present at a special legislative session on Monday morning, their absence blocking a quorum to advance redistricting.
Republicans say Texas’s recent population surge mandates redrawing congressional lines, whereas Democrats are accusing their opponents of illegal gerrymandering–the manipulation of an electoral constituency so as to favor one class–to lessen the risk of Texas flipping Blue in 2026 and 2028. Rather than attend the mandatory session, several Democratic lawmakers packed suitcases and fled the state, abandoning responsibilities and effectively abdicating their House seats.
Led by Rep. Gene Wu, a Chinaman of questionable US citizenship, they found sanctuary in Illinois and New York, among other liberal states, where Governors J.B. Pritzker and Kathy Hochul, respectively, have supplied them with armed security and lodging.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott said the state would prosecute the cowardly Dems and that he has tasked the Texas Rangers Division with returning to Austin any Dems they find. However, their jurisdiction is limited to the Lone Star State. Federal law enforcement, therefore, has joined the chase, reportedly after Texas Republicans asked the DOJ and FBI to help track the missing representatives.
Then, on Tuesday, the military entered the fray, with Special Forces detachments from Fort Bragg arriving in the Big Apple, the Windy City, and Los Angeles, White Hat sources told Real Raw News. One source said President Donald J. Trump quietly authorized the deployment following a late-night call with Gov. Abbott on Monday after the latter labeled the missing lawmakers “fugitives.” He added that Special Forces are operating independently of federal law enforcement—a parallel manhunt.
“US Special Operations Forces are pursuing their own leads,” our source said. “If they catch the traitors, they can only ‘detain’ them and hand them off to the FBI or US Marshals. Vaccinologist and multi-millionaire beneficiary of his own rotavirus vaccine patent, Paul Offit, said it was a “sad day for science.”
“[mRNA] is a phenomenal technology and it was remarkably safe … Although the vaccine could cause myocarditis … it was rare and it was transient and self-resolving,” he told MSNBC.

The FBI fired former Acting Director Brian Driscoll and other senior officials involved in January 6 cases and Trump witch hunts.
CNN reported on Thursday that former Acting Director Brian Driscoll, Acting Director in charge of the Washington Field Office Steve Jensen, and special agent Walter Giardina have all been fired.
Walter Giardia hunted down Trump Advisor Peter Navarro.
More FBI firings to come

Two senior FBI officials, including one who initially resisted the Trump administration’s effort to gather the names of agents who worked on cases related to the US Capitol attack on January 6, 2021, are being fired, multiple sources tell CNN.
Brian Driscoll, who was acting FBI director in the weeks before now-Director Kash Patel was confirmed, is being dismissed, sources said. Steve Jensen, the acting director in charge of the Washington Field Office, is also being fired, according to two separate sources.
The administration has also fired other agents in the bureau this week who were perceived to be opposed to Trump in the past, according to three sources familiar with the agency’s actions.
Earlier this year it was reported Driscoll refused to hand over the names of the officials involved in January 6 cases and Trump investigations.
According to NBC News, there were more than 2,400 cases in total – and approximately 5,000 FBI employees involved.
The FBI officials who worked on the J6 cases and Trump investigations were identified by a case management system.
NBC News reporter Ken Dilanian said that the list does not include names of the agents, rather, the agents were identified by a number called a “unique employee identifier.”
“The Justice Department, of course, can match the numbers with names on the payroll. But by leaving the names off, the FBI ensure that for now there is not a master list floating around of the names of people who worked on January 6th,” he said.
According to CNN, Brian Driscoll sent the DOJ the names of the FBI officials – but he sent the list through a classified system!

Crockett, who is known for her foul mouth, is reportedly rude to her staffers and refuses to come to the office.

The aides told The New York Post that Crockett is more interested in being an ‘influencer’ who posts viral clips to social media than actually representing the people of her district.

The liberal loudmouth, 44, has rocketed to fame since taking office in January 2023 as a fiery assailant of the Republican president and his allies.
But three sources who have worked with or for Crockett say she’s rarely present when TV cameras aren’t rolling — and terrorizes staff when she does appear.
Crockett is not often found at her government-provided suite in the Longworth House Office Building, with one insider saying she prefers to work from her nearby luxury apartment building, sometimes for weeks on end.
“She is laying around her apartment, won’t come into the office, and is really just indifferent to staff and will scream at them,” the former aide said.
“She is never in the office and is very disengaged. She does her bulls— that goes viral, and then freaks out over the most random things.”
