I recall a movie when I was a child in which Odysseus, the Greek leader in the Trojan War, known for his wisdom, approaches the sea passage controlled by the sirens. He wanted to hear their song.

It was rumored to lure all who listened to it to their destruction on the surrounding rocks, but at the same time it was also described as irresistible, promising all wisdom and pleasure to any who responded. No one had lived to tell the tale beyond these details.

All of what happened next is metaphorical.

If we followed the sirens’ songs (our extreme physical desires) with Odysseus, we’d end up on the rocks of missed opportunity.

At the levels of enlightenment we’re at, we need to be in the physical body and ascend to finish the cycle of birth and death the body is implicated in (complete Odysseus’ journey home). (1) You can call this Phase 1 of enlightenment if you like. Leaving duality and entering unity.

But, responding to our endless physically-based desires, we miss the opportunity to solve the puzzle of life (who am I?) while still in the body. We’ll have indulged ourselves and enjoyed ourselves but will have given little or no time to the one divine task asked of all of us (to find out who we are). (2)

This phase ends when we leave the physical levels (Third and Fourth Dimension) and enter the first of the non-dual, spiritual levels (the Fifth Dimension). That’s Phase 2 of a very long process.

If we follow our extreme physical desires (moderation appears to be fine), we forestall Ascension and reject that exit from the cycle of birth and death (3/4D).

That’s what lies behind the Biblical statement: I thy Lord am a jealous God. God will allow us to wander all over the map but that seldom leads to enlightenment. But if (and as long as) we so choose, God, in my interpretation, withholds the gift of enlightenment.

Later on (after 10D) we’ll be free of all bodies – physical and non-physical. (3) Our only desire then will be to reunite with God.

But Odysseus wanted to hear their song. He wanted to know how he’d feel listening to it and to what they offered.

So he had his crew plug their ears with bees wax and tie him to the mast. What he got was how powerful the sirens’ song was that it could have him want to break his bonds and take his crew to their deaths following it, had he not been bound. (4)

The whole purpose of life is to distinguish the One that we are from all else that is illusion. Extreme, physically-based desires lead us further into illusion. Moderation, again, is not harmful, as far as I know. (5)

Interestingly, if we just let our desires go, love arises to fill the space. And love leads us, not further into illusion, but further into Reality.

After my heart opening, Michael told me that one of the factors that caused it to happen was that I was not desiring as much; hence I had created the space for love to fill up.

Returning to Odysseus, his crew protected themselves with bees wax, metaphorically refusing to listen to the (extreme) siren songs of their bodily desires.

The bees wax we lightworkers use are the teachings of the Divine Mother and her myriad, higher-dimensional servants. (6)

The Odysseuses among us, like Donald Trump, his administration team, and his colleagues in the Global Military Alliance have listened to the sirens’ songs and have rejected the call to fame and fortune, power and control.

They asked to be tied to the mast … or, in another tale, to enter the lion’s den or, again, walk through the fiery furnace … to serve and save the people.

And, in the process, to offer us an example, a template, if you wish, to exit this tempest and its chaos.

Gratitude is a form, a flavor of love. I express my gratitude to all of them. And with it arises love and joy and – some day – all the divine qualities, the closer we come to solving the puzzle.

(1) To graduate from the Third and Fourth Dimensions is to leave duality and polarity behind for transformative love and unity. It also means leaving the physical body behind for our light body or merkebah. With that comes an end to birth and death, love beyond anything we can imagine, a permanent heart opening and, with it, access to other dimensions, etc. The ability to manifest, to teleport, to telecommunicate, on and on.

You go and perform a hundred other tasks; but if you have not performed that particular task on account of which you had gone to the country, it is as if you have performed nothing at all. So man has come into this world for a particular task [enlightenment: to find out who they are], and that is his purpose; if he does not perform it, then he will have done nothing. (Rumi in DR, 26.)

(3) By the Tenth Dimension we’ll have left bodies behind and become sheer energy.

In my view, all twelve dimensions are material (mater, Mother). However, within that, 3-4D are physical and in form; 5-9D are spiritual and in form; 10-12 are spiritual and outside of form. Of the Transcendental realm beyond, I know almost nothing.

(4) Being bound is metaphorical for having the spiritual knowledge that would allow one to sail safely past the sirens and their song.

(5) Enlightenment seems to attend achieving a still mind, in balance, in the center, in the heart. Thus moderation does not up-end us. It’s extremity. So, in the Buddha’s terms, according to me, it’s not the middle way of balance but the extremes of craving and aversion that are troublesome.
