It’s not enough to say that life is scripted; everything that comes at us is pre-planned.
There’s a fatalistic edge to that, which I hold at arm’s length. It doesn’t inspire me to action.
The observation is only half true. It’s incomplete (Michael’s favorite word in correcting me). (1)
Yes, we map out our lifetime before we’re born and that decides what comes at us. (2)
But that’s only half the picture.
The other half is what we do in response. Looking at only half the picture ignores another scripted part of it – human free will. The Divine Mother tells us:
Divine Mother: Divine authority means choosing – yes, with your free will and your divine authority of free will – to direct how, where, when, [and] if you choose to proceed. (3)
Factoring that in, we now have a more complete picture: We scripted life to offer us the situations we needed to correct something about ourselves or expand ourselves in a desirable direction by exercising our choices in the matter at hand and experiencing the results.
Desirable for what? Now we have to widen the microscope lens. Desirable to fulfill the purpose of life. And what might that be, pray tell? I’d think you’d have it memorized by now:
For human beings, the purpose of life, as it was shown to me in a 1987 vision, is enlightenment. (4) The purpose is for us to know who we absolutely and truly are.
Why? That brings us to the purpose for God. The purpose of creating life for the Source of All that is is that the all-pervasive God should meet the all-pervasive God in a moment of our enlightenment. For that meeting was all of this created.
Phew! If that doesn’t bring some issues in our lives into perspective, we’d better check our pulse.
So, no, it’s not enough to observe, philosophically, that life is scripted if what we mean is that there’s nothing we can do about it and nothing for us to do.
That’s like saying the baseball has been thrown and there’s nothing we can do about it.
Yes, we can. We can hit a home run. What we do with the ball coming at us is the reason for having the pitch.
