Proof of that is the fact that, after the lower-level talks have continued non-stop, Presidents Donald J. Trump and Vladimir Putin are reportedly set to hold talks again this week – a fact that is a sign of meaningful developments, because the top dogs don’t get involved unless there’s significant progress.

The USAID-media, as always, is working around-the-clock to try to discredit and perhaps even impede this historic détente from happening.

We just saw the MSM falsely reporting that Putin left US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff waiting for nine hours before receiving him for talks in the Kremlin – leading to Trump debunking the story in a Truth post, calling the Fake News ‘reporters’ ‘sick degenerates’.

“US envoy Steve Witkoff, who spoke with Putin for several hours in Moscow on Thursday, said he assumes the highly anticipated call between the two leaders will be ‘really good and positive’.

‘I expect that there will be a call with both presidents this week, and we’re also continuing to engage and have conversation with the Ukrainians’, he told CNN on Sunday, adding he hopes to see ‘real progress’ in ending the conflict soon.”

“Earlier on Sunday, Moscow said Marco Rubio, the US secretary of state, called his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov and discussed ‘concrete aspects of the implementation of understandings’ established at a US-Russia summit last month.”

This is also significant, because the bigger aspect of this détente is not only to stop the war in Ukraine – certainly a very important goal – but to restart US-Russia relations towards a world of cooperation and prosperity with peace between the nuclear powers.

The Democrat Party is in full-blown collapse as the latest NBC News poll reveals a devastating reality.

With the nation rejecting their radical policies and endless failures, only 7% of Americans still have a “very positive” view of the Democrats — marking an all-time low in NBC News polling history dating back to 1990, according to the far-left network.

And only 27% of registered voters say they view the Democrat Party “positively.”

Americans are rejecting the radical left. And it’s not just Republicans who are sick of the Democrats’ disastrous policies—nearly 20% of their own voters have turned on them, disgusted by the party’s lack of leadership and direction.

“With these numbers, the Democratic Party isn’t in need of a rebrand—it needs a complete system reboot,” said Jeff Horwitt, a Democrat pollster from Hart Research Associates who helped conduct the survey alongside GOP pollster Bill McInturff of Public Opinion Strategies.

Meanwhile, a staggering 55% of voters have a negative view of the party, including 38% who say they hold very negative feelings toward the Democrats.

NBC News reported:

“With these numbers, the Democratic Party is not in need of a rebrand. It needs to be rebooted,” said Democratic pollster Jeff Horwitt of Hart Research Associates, who conducted the survey along with GOP pollster Bill McInturff of Public Opinion Strategies.

The slump is partially driven by fed-up Democrats, according to the polling data, after they watched their party lose to Trump in 2024. And now, in a reversal from Trump’s first term, self-identified Democratic voters say they want their party to hold the line on their positions even if it leads to gridlock, rather than focus on finding areas of compromise with the president.

The poll illustrates the angst within the party driving backlash against the Senate Democrats, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who sided with Republicans on a Friday procedural vote to advance a GOP-designed spending bill and avert a government shutdown.

“When Donald Trump wakes up in the morning and says, ‘You’re doing the right things, Senate Democrats’ — we don’t feel that is the right place to be,” Rep. Pete Aguilar, D-Calif., the House Democratic Caucus chair, said Friday.

“Back in April 2017, 59% of Democrats said they wanted congressional Democrats to make compromises with Trump to gain consensus on legislation, with 33% saying they should stick to their positions even if that means not being able to get things done in Washington.

“Now, that sentiment has completely flipped. Almost two-thirds of Democrats, 65%, say they want congressional Democrats to stick to their positions even if that risks sacrificing bipartisan progress, and just 32% want them to make legislative compromises with Trump.”

A radical leftist judge has thrown a wrench into President Donald Trump’s bold mission to secure America’s borders and protect its law-abiding citizens from foreign threats.

On Saturday, Chief Judge Judge James E. Boasberg—an Obama appointee—issued a temporary restraining order to block the Trump administration from deporting thousands of Venezuelan nationals, including dangerous gang members, under the Alien Enemies Act.

This wartime measure, a cornerstone of executive authority, has been wielded for centuries to expel hostile foreign nationals.

This outrageous ruling comes after far-left activist groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Democracy Forward, rushed to court in a desperate attempt to shield violent illegal immigrants from deportation.

Their lawsuit, J.G.G. v. Trump, claims that using the Alien Enemies Act to remove illegal immigrants—many of whom are tied to the brutal Tren de Aragua gang— is “unlawful” and “unprecedented” during “peacetime.”

Never mind that the Constitution grants the president sweeping powers to defend the nation from foreign threats, or that these deportations target criminals who have no business roaming American streets. For now, Boasberg’s order halts deportations for the lawsuit’s named plaintiffs for a mere 14 days.

Judge Boasberg’s radical ruling reached a new level of insanity later on Saturday when he ordered the Trump administration to immediately return planes that were already deporting members of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua—one of the most dangerous criminal organizations in the Western Hemisphere.

According to Politico, Boasberg instructed:

“Any plane containing these folks that is going to take off or is in the air needs to be returned to the United States, however that is accomplished. Make sure it’s complied with immediately.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi wasted no time in calling out this judicial overreach, blasting Judge Boasberg’s decision in a scathing statement:

“Tonight, a DC trial judge supported Tren de Aragua terrorists over the safety of Americans. TdA is represented by the ACLU. This order disregards well-established authority regarding President Trump’s power, and it puts the public and law enforcement at risk. The Department of Justice is undeterred in its efforts to work with the White House, the Department of Homeland Security, and all of our partners to stop this invasion and Make America Safe Again.”

Conservative champion, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave his state-of-the-nation address in which he outlined his government’s plans for 2025.

Orbán announced upcoming (unprecedented) tax cuts for mothers with multiple children.

European Conservative reported:

“Most of the new measures are meant to help families raise more kids, with the most important new element being the expansion of the country’s unique lifetime tax exemption from mothers of four to those with three and two children.

Hungarian mothers with three children will be given lifetime income tax exemption from October this year, while the same will be gradually expanded to cover mothers with two kids starting January 2026. These measures are estimated to affect 250 thousand families with three children, and another 600 thousand raising two.”

“There will only be more births if the mothers feel financially secure, Orbán said, adding that Hungary would have at least two hundred thousand fewer births since 2010 if it wasn’t for the Fidesz government’s generous family policies.”

Besides the mothers’ tax exemption – which is unique in the EU – Hungarian families already can deduct a certain amount from their taxes, like in some other countries.

“Orbán, however, also announced the doubling of the amount of these deductibles later this year, increasing the monthly amount parents can write off their taxes to €50 euros after one child, €200 after two, and €500 after three children. In addition, all types of allowances and childcare benefits linked to parental leave will also become tax-free.”
