Why did he pick that date?
Because 2014 is when the CIA/State Dept took over Ukraine. 2014 is when Hunter’s biolab company, Metabiota, began looking for coronaviruses in Ukraine.

Some Democrats are so mad about Joe Biden pardoning his son Hunter that they are threatening to withhold funding for Biden’s presidential library.
According to some reports, Biden and his inner circle have been caught surprised by the backlash to the pardon. They can’t seem to understand why this would make so many people angry.
There will be more fallout from this in the coming months, especially because Biden has angered so many people on his own side. If he ends up issuing more pardons, which is fully expected, anger will only grow.

President Joe Biden’s pardon of Hunter Biden infuriated some Democrats, who are threatening to withhold donations to the president’s future presidential library, Axios’s Jim VandeHei and Mike Allen reported Thursday.
Hunter’s pardon received mixed reactions among Democrats, who widely touted Joe Biden’s promise that he would not pardon his son. Some Democrats are so upset about the president’s lie that they might not donate to his future presidential library.
“If they had their sh*t together, they would have been doing the work on this over the summer — right after he announced he was stepping aside,” one well-connected Democrat told Axios. “Now, it’s just too late. Hopefully they are rightsizing their expectations and budget!”

Once the dust settles on this, it will probably be entertaining to see the plans for Biden’s library. The back room of a Denny’s restaurant would probably suffice.
I don’t believe Candace is a conservative. I think she’s a reformer who can’t find a home in the liberal Democrats and has found one with conservative Republicans who also need things at the present stage to change. I think we miss an important nuance if we simply equate her with “conservatives” and “the right.”

Steve: Someone unconfuse me. Joe Biden didn’t pardon Hunter Biden. Actor Arthur Roberts wearing a Joe Biden mask pardoned Hunter. What weight does that carry? None at all.
But it does now open up a second choice: You can now use the fact that Hunter has been pardoned of all crimes to ask him to testify. He’s now shorn of the ability to invoke the Fifth Amendment because he’s now guilty of no crimes.
Or you can use the unmasking of “Joe Biden” to show that Joe Biden has not pardoned Hunter at all and proceed with prosecution for the serious rather than the trivial crimes he stands … or, rather, stood accused or suspected of.
Subway rider Daniel Penny subdued a violent man with a chokehold, from which the man did not recover. Instead of meeting with approval for the risk he took, he was charged with manslaughter.

The jury deciding the fate of Daniel Penny has informed the judge that they are unable to reach a unanimous verdict on whether he is guilty of manslaughter — the most serious charge he is facing.
The jury was told they must come to a unanimous decision on the manslaughter charge before they would be allowed to consider a lesser charge of criminally negligent homicide.
Penny, a former Marine, was charged with manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide for using a chokehold to detain Jordan Neely, a homeless man who was threatening people on the subway, in May 2023.
Neely later died after police arrived at the scene and opted not to attempt mouth-to-mouth resuscitation due to his appearance of being a drug user.
The jury began deliberations on Tuesday and informed the judge about the deadlock on Friday.
According to a report from NBC News, Judge Maxwell Wiley told the jurors “he would confer with defense attorneys and prosecutors before issuing further guidance.”
Penny is facing up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
