From the Community Solutions Newsletter:
Rosanne Haggerty, President of Community Solutions, shares how we can move the needle on homelessness.
“We’ve been flying blind when it comes to housing and homelessness, but it doesn’t have to be this way,”
Haggerty cites success in communities across the U.S. that approach homelessness as a systems problem, not a personal failure.
“…rigorously coordinating the work of all of the actors in their system to see that homelessness is prevented.”
Redefining success
Ending homelessness doesn’t mean that no one will ever experience a housing crisis again.
Instead, Haggerty redefines success as creating systems that can respond to homelessness quickly and effectively, ensuring that when it happens, it’s brief and rare.
Haggerty concludes her talk with a challenge to all of us — stop accepting homelessness as a reality of modern society and take action.
“This is not a time for half measures, but for big bets and to move toward the kinds of housing systems we need, modeled on what we need.”

The Universal Laws are a framework for how things work in the higher realms.
All of us in our hearts, accessing the compass there, we find many of us are probably here to be systems organizers, just like Roseanne Hagerty above!
All our systems are broken . . . from our top-down approach or ego driven approach that we’ve had for centuries.
As our heart consciousness comes online, watch for the solutions to all our issues come online, too. Broken systems will be a thing of the past.
