75 more years? Really?
As you know, I follow the awareness path. And the object of awareness is the “Self” and all its disguises. Whatever shows up as “I” in my inner conversation is a self worth observing. (1)
Why? What’s the benefit? Well, I’ll tell you one huge benefit that showed up today.
I was doing errands and asking myself why I felt so awful. And then I caught myself thinking one itsy-bitsy not-very-positive thought. And I felt awful.
Now usually I go after the content of the thought. But today I didn’t. Today I got the causal connection.
Today I got at an experiential (and minor) realizational level (2) that any fleeting negative thought that I get a hold of and cling to will have me end up feeling awful.
Getting it at last is mostly because of the rising lovelight energies, I believe. (3) The rest is due to the work I’ve been doing, which I share with you daily.
I’ve become so sensitive to what I think, feel, and do that having a negative thought is like an anchor dragging me down to the depths.
John-Roger said he could not afford the luxury of a negative thought and now I get it.
Not like I want to be a fast-talking dude with a five-mile smile. I’ll settle for a beacon of love and consider that I’ve fulfilled my soul contract!!!!!

Is it not the most obvious thing in the world to say: “Think a harmful thought and you’ll feel bad”?
I feel dumber than dumb seeing how obvious that relationship is and how I never saw it or acknowledged it till now.
I can’t stop the passage of a thought across the screen of my mind. But I can’t afford the luxury of holding onto a negative thought, getting behind a negative feeling, or carrying out a negative act.
It took me 78 years to see something that obvious….
