I’m feeling both love and bliss at the same time right now. Bliss is lifting me higher; love has me desire to share it with another or with others.
The tug of the one is internal; the tug of the other is external.
Bliss leads to realization. Love leads to connection. (1)
Does their combination make for completion?
I suspect that love is a synonym for the Mother and bliss, because of its connection to realization, is a synonym for the Father.
The ultimate act is one of realizing – realizing our true identity as the One. Bliss facilitates that. The impulse of bliss is to realize.
The Mother’s essence is love. As the creator, preserver, and transformer of worlds, she uses love to accomplish her work. The impulse of love is to share and to serve.
Love must flow. We experience it as it flows up from our hearts and out to the world. As I said earlier, when love flows, it flows universally, not personally.
I’d think that to experience both love and bliss at the same time would be an act of balance, an act of androgeny. Within and without. Above (uplifting bliss) and below (outreaching love).
Part of us, to borrow from Michael, is in the higher dimensions where the bliss is and part of us is in our everyday, human dimension where the work is and where love takes us to serve.
Footnotes
(1) I experience love as being in the heart region. I experience bliss as being in the crown-chakra region. I’m imagining being uplifted by bliss up on my inbreath and sending love out on my outbreath.
