Charter for Compassion January 2021 Newsletter
The New Year is a painting not yet painted; a path not yet stepped on; a wing not yet taken off! Things haven’t happened as yet! Before the clock strikes twelve, remember that you are blessed with the ability to reshape your life!” ~Mehmet Murat ildan
The Turkish writer, Mehmet Murat Ildan, has it right. The clock has definitely struck and we are well on our way into a NEW year.
Let’s paint a better, kinder and more compassionate 2021.
I just had an uplifting conversion with Leanne Rubenstein, one of the coordinators of Compassionate Atlanta. They produce “Love Notes.”
I’ve used them in workshops in India in 2019 and people who weren’t in the workshop tracked me down and asked for one. They bring a light to those who receive one.
Leanne told me several heartwarming stories of how she has been giving Love Notes to people who are providing services in her community. She is now being referred to as the Love Note Lady.
Doing some small gesture for people will help paint that new picture, perhaps add some extra color to your life and their lives. We all are artists.
