(Concluded from Part 1.)
An important escape available to lightworkers is not an escape at all. That’s to burrow deeper and deeper into the divine qualities and the behavior that supports them.
I’m feeling the weight of responsibility from my own writing. I don’t want to let the Divine Mother, Archangel Michael or you down.
I’ve foresworn escape routes like nervous breakdowns and wild parties. The only escape I see from the ongoing weightiness of leadership is to go deeper and deeper in my writing.
To offer you what Werner Erhard called “more, better, and different” won’t address my responsibilities. I’m not here to entertain. I’m here to share my journey for the assistance that that may provide others.
For me that means going deeper.
Singer Ann Mortifee used to offer a workshop in which she said that, if we want to hit the high notes, we have to go deeper with our breathing.
If we want to experience the higher vibrations, I think, we have to go deeper with our thinking, feeling, sensing, and expressing.
What goes along with going deeper is relaxation. I have this mischievous thought that the busier I get, the more relaxed and peaceful I’m going to need to be.
The busier I get, the less I’ll be able to do. And the less I probably should do. A leader should not be “doing,” in my opinion, unless leading is considered doing. Leading brings with it exigencies that simply are not visible when one isn’t leading and have to be seen to. Those leaders who don’t see to them give up at some point.
Relaxation could mean meditation, long walks, contemplation, listening to music, whatever allows us to avoid stress and release accumulated tension.
That’s consistent with needing to surrender to the higher energies. It’s consistent with peace, serenity, equanimity,
A second necessity is to lead an ever more ethical or dharmic life. After a while we’ll find ourselves exploring finer and finer points of dharmic behavior, especially in the area of finances.
I have no crystal ball with which to see into things. I may channel unconsciously in my writing but not consciously (like Linda does, for instance). While we’re all assisted by our guides, I’m not consciously aware of it. I am aware of the love that comes through the heart and that guides me. And maybe that’s the most important thing to be aware of in any case. We’ll need to fall back in some way on inner guidance because being encased in these neoprene bodies restricts our vision, thinking, even feeling.
These are just observations – of trends and patterns and responses to what is being asked of us as lightworkers. If we fail to take up the challenge of leadership, a vital component will be missing from the building of Nova Earth. I’m talking about global leadership as well as community leadership. The responsibility to lead faces us. It’s a challenge that we agreed to before we were born and now the time arrives for us to take up that responsibility.
Given the importance of the subject, I’ll be looking more at it in future articles.
