Now this story yields one deep rabbit hole with winding twists revealing valid points from many sides, but I cannot tackle them all here & now, so let’s stick with the most predominant from my perspective, okay? “Let’s get it on!”
“Earlier this week, Ann Coulter spoke with Florida radio host Joyce Kaufman about President Barack Obama’s plan to subsidize community college educations for millions of students across the country. Surprise, surprise — she hates it. ‘If [colleges] are so confident that their students are going to go out and make all kinds of money, why is the taxpayer on the hook for this?’ Coulter asked. “This is such a scam how middle-class Americans are being taxed to subsidize the most left-wing industry in America, that spends its days indoctrinating kids to hate Republicans.”
“’And to hate white people,’ Kaufman said. ‘The whole white privilege thing that’s going on there is killing me.’ ‘Yeah, and they’re never called to account for it,’” Coulter replied. (1)
I’m not sure about you, but from these comments alone, it seems these two conservative republicans are incredibly biased in their views and beliefs. Yes, certainly a liberal arts college will advocate that their students think for themselves –and isn’t that what all people should be doing anyway?
Or, is it truly the conservative Republican agenda to –not– have people thinking for themselves??? Then people would certainly be a lot easier to brainwash …oops, I meant then they would be a lot easier to program. Oh, sorry sorry sorry: They would be a lot easier to “influence” –there we go, that’s the politically correct term, right Ms. Coulter?
Ms. Coulter said that colleges “are so confident that their students are going to go out and make all kinds of money” …Let’s start there: At the beginning of her statement. Where does she get this view? Last I knew, it’s a dog eat dog world out there, especially for new college grads.
Last year’s graduating class, according to USA Today, experienced severe challenges in obtaining employment in their chosen field. “Seniors who graduate over the next several weeks (article originally published in May 2014) are poised to be yet another product of a depressing economic cycle that isn’t their fault but that they may never fully recover from. They and other recent graduating classes entered college and subsequently the labor market amid a panoply of converging circumstances that will inevitably set them back: Rising tuition, their parents’ decreasing ability to pay that tuition, fewer jobs after graduation, and lower wages for the jobs that are available…. ‘The Class of 2014 will be the sixth consecutive graduating class to enter the labor market during a period of profound weakness.'” (2)
Then Ms. Coulter states “it’s such a scam” to have the middle class taxpayer financially supporting this. Now, here’s an area where we can agree: Taxes are such a scam (my words, not quite Ann’s)! Thank you, Ann, yes you are correct: It is a scam. And I take it one step further by suggesting that taxes in-and-of-themselves are a scam, also.
So this is what I’m sensing: Ms. Coulter is using buzzwords to stir up an emotional response in us, now isn’t she? It is a well known marketing fact that people, when emotionally triggered, spend their money. This is a good way to almost guarantee that her books become bestsellers, right? Did you know that her website states that she has ten, count ’em 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10, bestsellers. Either she has lots to educate us about, thus selling so many books, or she knows “how” to write to pull us in. And based on what she shared with us in this brief quote above, my money is on the latter. I’m not cutting her down for her admirable skill of writing bestsellers. I’m only highlighting her modus operandi: Emotions and outrageous statements.
Outrageous statements, such as colleges spending their “days indoctrinating kids to hate Republicans.” Again, where does this even come from? Who says something like this? Spiritual Psychology tells me of the Universal Law that goes a little something like this: The only way one can identify with an emotion of another person is because they themselves have that very same emotion inside in order for it to resonate. So, viewing her statement through spiritual lenses, it is Ms. Ann Coulter herself who actually hates Republicans.
In other words, the only way she can conceptualize this completely subjective conclusion about college students is if she has said feelings within herself, allowing them to be a reality in her world. She may have heard it from someone else originally, but it actually stuck within her psyche. If she had not internally agreed with this opinion, then it would have gone in one ear and out the other. Quite literally, this statement otherwise “would not compute.” But since it does, as evidenced by her propagating it, we can conclude there is a part of her –most likely unbeknownst to her– that hates Republicans.
This conclusion complements well with my understanding of what it’s like to live in fear, as we all do …at different times and at varying degrees throughout our lives. Republicans, Democrats, and the cabal use fear. Fear is escalated and enhanced with strong definitive statements (such as “hate Republicans”) that elicit emotional responses within us.
Be aware of these tools. Be aware of these ploys. During this last hooray of the cabal’s, stay aware of their mind games, their tricks, and their strategies to rile us up …in the hopes to get us emotionally spinning and off-kilter. When we are spinning, then we feed the cabal with the sustenance they need to survive: Fear, disharmony, anxiety, unbalance, unrest. Do NOT feed them by entering into the lower vibrations and giving them a method to hook you. Let these emotional triggers slip right out of your consciousness and out of your reality, by coating yourself with a golden white Light of “slippery slip.” (Just a fun term I made up….)
