(Continued from Part 2.)
The guides returned the next day for my supplementary questions. I felt a little bruised but drawn to the discussion like a moth to a lamp. They began:
“Understand, please, that the purpose of the conversation isn’t so much to give answers as it is to encourage Steve to find and own up to the answers he holds within. With this in mind, we may proceed.”
My first question was one on mission and their response was interesting because it combined the purpose of life (to awaken to our true identity) with the achievement of unitive consciousness, the purpose of Ascension.
“The heart and soul of the mission here on Gaia for all is similar. It involves the awakening of each individual to the reality of Oneness. This is about realizing that each is a representative of the One Source and that this Source is LOVE.
“With this realization, there’s a personal ownership and responsibility that happens and this is when the magic begins. This is a long conversation in and of itself, but let us be as specific as we may in this circumstance.”
They then provided a definition of being on mission which I heartily agree with and would never have thought of on my own.
“From our view, we would say one is ‘on a mission’ when they are awakened to their connection with and responsibility for what is occurring in their field of consciousness. When they then are looking consistently and devotedly to remedy that which they see is out of alignment with what is true and what is for the good of all, this is an example of one on a mission.”
“The details of this will vary, as we come to be in form and into this interplay going on now in the collective field of Gaia’s human kingdom is full of wonderful diversity. The nature of each being’s interest, passion, and of course, the skills they brought in and have developed while here coming into awareness, all these will be brought to bear in the playing out of the movement from what doesn’t work for the good of all and what will.”
Some folks may recall the Arcturians saying much the same thing to me on another occasion: that defining the mission reduces it.
“To even try to define and stick into a box the details of what the mission consists of for even one person would be a limiting force. We suggest this in order to bring understanding to how fluid and how creative in each moment this movement in the individual and in the collective is, not to side-line the knowledge we have of mission specifics. We say that each being knows these details, and to ask is to look for verification, not to actually need to know.”
Nonetheless, they did outline a part of my mission for me:
“There is a great passion in Steve and he feels his most powerful and most connected when aroused to passion, no matter the subject. …
“What is known, in so far as what Steve’s mission is is simply this: He is here to show his passion and share his enthusiasm for what his intent is.
“The deeper he shares the more alluring it is, and this is encouraging to others, no matter of the particulars of how this exactly unfolds. Because of this, there are those who are having some movements as well in parallel with him.
“It is the alluring and beautiful quality of authenticity, of intent, of openness, of being willing to share that accomplishes this.”
That’s helpful. In the next part, we’ll look more at the “split,” which is apparently common in our culture.
