Hello all, I thought it might be helpful to share this video from Tarot by Janine to get the discussion started. Please, chime in with your feelings and thoughts on this chaotic December we’re in.
Thanks!
love,
Catherine

What an amazing, cool woman. I’m a pure blood who hasn’t seen my closest neighbor since mid October. We shared gardens and bounty all summer even though they knew my stance. Then they started saying: still not vaxed? A couple of months of no contact & you know what, I’ve let it go. Now with the holidays I’m gonna do my own thing. Even with the big Christmas Eve gathering, I don’t think I’m going. I am safe, and cared for, and provided for here. With my dog and my home, it’s just me. Everything I need is here, everything I want is now. The only foothold I have is the knowing I’ve always paved my own way. This may be a big step into simplicity. Truly live simply. It is easier for me, that’s for sure. Thank you ladies for sharing, and letting me reach out into a new community (of stalwart pioneers).

That’s wonderful, T. Ruth, I’m glad you found your way here!
Pretty incredible that a neighbor would even have the gall to ask about your medical condition or choices. And yet that’s exactly what people are doing. Perfect example of it with what happened to you. I’ve had very few of those encounters probably because I have such limited contact with people. For which I’m glad.
If you feel like it, tell us a little more about yourself perhaps in the introductions thread. Like what country or part of the US you live in etc.
Welcome, and I hope you’ll keep coming back!
Love,
Catherine

Holidays are increasingly difficult for me, but tomorrow is my 41st birthday and I think it’s going to be sort of great. It’s always difficult but now the range is degrees of difficulty & I have adjusted to the constant work.
