Toward a World that Works for Everyone

Hi, All,
I expressed in a 3-part series of articles last year once we have RV’d, redeemed our Zim, and all that, that it would be easier for the general public to accept that “a group of philanthropists” had pooled wealth to create a large fund for whatever purpose, than to see one lone gazillionaire being the sole funder of some project or mission.
On that note, let’s take the opportunity of this board and Private Messaging to share links to projects that we could fund together.
I’ll start:
“When the Indianapolis anesthesiologist really dreams big, he envisions someone doing for future Tumaini students what billionaire Ken Langone, co-founder of The Home Depot Inc., did in 2018 for medical students at New York University: Donate $100 million and raise another $350 million so the school will be tuition-free forevermore. For Mote and others on Tumaini’s board, the idea is that medical students without enormous debt might skip the more lucrative specialties and practice in underserved rural or blighted urban areas, domestic or abroad.”
Since DePauw University is in my home state, where I’ll be starting my projects, I’ll put up the initial $100MM. Who else wants in for the next $400MM?
I would also start a debt-relief program for med students *with* enormous school debt.
What have you found that we could all pitch in for?
Cheers!
