Children of the Sun have asked our participation today in sending out love to the Middle East. (1) I invite your participation.
As part of my participation, I’d like to look at the situation in trouble spots like this.
That area has long been so antagonistic and its politics so complex as to be a Gordian knot.
Wikipedia says of the latter:
“The Gordian Knot is a legend of Phrygian Gordium associated with Alexander the Great. It is often used as a metaphor for an intractable problem (disentangling an “impossible” knot) solved easily by cheating or “thinking outside the box” (“cutting the Gordian knot”).”
It was said that the person who untied the knot would rule Asia. Alexander showed his conquering character by taking out his sword and cutting the knot. And he did conquer Asia.
In latter-day society, there are many situations that are Gordian knots. ISIS, Israelis and Palestinians, the Ukraine, Pakistan and India – all of these hot spots have proven to be intractable problems for the people in those areas and for the rest of the world.
Century upon century of conflict has caused the populations to dig in and never back down. The ancient roots of the quarrel are irreconcilable but probably forgotten, except in slogan form.
There was a movie some time ago called The War of the Roses, starring Kathleen Turner and Michel Douglas, that illustrated the situation.
In it, Turner and Douglas fought to their dying breath. The audience was waiting to see if one declared peace before the two of them died. If I recall, Turner died clutching Douglas’s hand and, with his last dying breath, Douglas pulled his hand away. So it is in these troubled areas – particularly the Middle East.
In all these conflict zones, the question is: how far will each side go to make its point? And there isn’t farther to go than beheading, suicide bombers, random missile attacks, etc.
Of the Mideast conflict zone, Children of the Sun say:
“With all humanity now connected through technology, the surfacing energy of extreme separation is revealing through every crack and cranny to be cleansed, polarizing intensely in the Middle East. It is a hateful deluge that is even blatantly promoted to coerce instability, especially inflaming through mainstream and social media.” (2)
Sounds pretty daunting, if we didn’t know that the Light will spread all over the Earth.
What can two nations do who have an irreconcilable issue separating them? Children of the Sun say:
“[Our] assistance cannot wait a moment longer. We are marching now, into the Middle East as an invincible Army of Light.
“Calling All Ambassadors of Love to the Middle East!!!” (3)
Ten years ago I would have smiled at the suggestion that the united expression of love could have cut the Gordian knot. But now I think that it’s the only thing that ever can and ever will.
The best thing we can do is to send our love their way and the more of us the better. The presence of Gordian knots on our planet is the costliest proof of what happens in the absence of love. In my view, we lightworkers are the transmitters of love. And it’s our mission to send it out everywhere.
