I’m having such a great time with this spiritual practice, suitable for a busy person, of selecting one spiritual guideline and focusing on it.
So much is happening that I as one person can’t keep up with it. I end up choosing between good analyses and newsworthy events. Then I end up leaving off watching videos, which are time-consuming and may not in the end result in any text (and I’m a print journalist). I’m constantly bailing water. (1)
Given the pace of things, after reflection on which guideline I’d follow, I chose “do unto others as you would have others do unto you.” (2) Because what we do unto others is what’s going to be done unto us or reflected back to us in time anyways. We may as well embroider our future rather than make chains of it.
I’m connecting with currents of thought, behavior, and growth from a long time back. And we know that Michael is gradually bringing my memory back. (3)
One is the persistent notion that my life is a workshop and everything is a learning experience.
I went to so many workshops that I used to think that I could have bought a house with the money spent, back when house prices were reachable.
So … do unto others. Walk a mile in their shoes. See things through their eyes.
I’m seeing that that is one powerful thing to do. And I never really thought about it.
It’s the operational basis of all win/win etiquette and diplomacy, all successful organizational people, I would think.
The troll under the bridge, the grumpy old fart is really dropping the character armor now.
Applying this one rule is like an ongoing workshop. And I feel way, way better living my life this way.

(1) The Lord Arcturus’ words are ringing in my ears:
Lord Arcturus: You tend to get caught up in the outer things because you feel it is your duty to keep others informed and then your energy drops. …
Outer appearances are causing you to question and feel that the burden is on you personally (separation) to bring every bit of information you become aware of to the public. …
You have believed that you must publish everything because that is fairness. …
Allow your intuition to guide you always as to what should be published. (Lord Arcturus in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Marilyn Raffaele, Dec. 19, 2020.)
Lord Arcturus: [Steve’s] intention is and must continue to be to present information as he sees fit and to allow each reader to decide for themselves if they wish to accept it or not. (The Lord Arcturus in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Marilyn Raffele, Dec. 12, 2020.)
