Cosmic Pest Control

I think the apocalypse is here. How else to explain ants invading our house not by a boring old trail through a window or under a door, but up through the carpet in the middle of the floor?

When ants invaded many years ago, I was determined to avoid toxic treatments. I looked for spiritual meaning in the invasion, and wondered if I could negotiate with the ants, as a Reiki master friend suggested.

And after the diatomaceous earth and essential oil treatments accomplished diddly squat, what did I end up doing? I called a pest control company who sprayed the heck out of the house perimeter. Problem solved. No more ants.

Now, I vacuumed up the two tiny ant clusters that materialized like black spots on a bad conscience, and sprayed the carpet with Cedarcide to confuse the scent receptors of scout ants. (Our cats are attracted to Raid, or I’d have deployed that weapon.)

It’s after hours but I left a message for Santa Barbara Pest Control.

The change in how I am reacting seems to present a parallel to how humanity could – should? – react to the stubborn presence of dark forces in our world. Call them Archons, call them aliens, call them the evil ones. In my (perhaps simplistic) outlook, they are not indigenous earthlings but invaders and raiders.

Some speculate that the dark forces feed upon human energy. That they treat us as a literal food source. As part of the Universe of All That Is, don’t they still have a “right” to exist? Who is anyone to judge them for their repugnant feeding habits?

I’m wondering if my swift response to today’s bizarre ant invasion is wiser than my futile, “ecologically correct” deterrent efforts years ago. I’m generally a peaceful person, but I find it oddly reassuring to observe my trajectory from “live and let live” to unhesitatingly doing what it takes to protect my family and home. My previous tolerance now seems naïve, similar to how I used to believe energy work alone would significantly and directly impact my physical world.

Can humanity develop a more proactive, self-protective attitude toward the dark-force invaders who are here to conquer us? We’ll share the Universe, if we must, with creatures who are anathema to the qualities of love, harmony, and peace that humans strive for. That doesn’t mean we must tolerate behaviors in direct opposition to our values and cherished beliefs, within the sacred borders of planet Earth herself.

Many believe that the Solar Flare/Event will cleanse the cosmos of evil. There’s no judgment – just a matter of vibration or frequency. Earth (and humans who ascend with her) will be so elevated, evil won’t even find us.

In the interim, in the interests of human self-preservation, perhaps some wise soul could dial up Cosmic Pest Control and call in the big guns. When our planet has been invaded and debased, and humanity attacked, for eons… How much longer are we supposed to endure the mistreatment? If repetitive human suffering was part of some divine plan which has long since run its course, bring down the curtain, already.

Perhaps the top White Hat has Cosmic Pest Control on the speed dial of their Quantum Phone. And if not, God’s at the switchboard and can patch them through tout de suite.
