Watermelon. Fruits on the astral planes revitalize….
We’re at 81% of our monthly appeal! Hurrrrraaaayyyyy!!!! Thank you!
I needed to look at the literature of the astral planes (New Maps of Heaven) (1) on another research subject and it set me contemplating.
If we were on the astral planes right now, we’d have no hunger or thirst. But we’d also have a great variety of fruit trees for our pleasure. Anyone’s fruit tree would be available to be drawn upon by any visiting traveller. The fruit tree regrows and there is never any waste. Extra juice, for instance, evaporates and returns to the tree.
Apparently the fruit revitalizes us in a way that it doesn’t on the Earth plane. Msgr Robert Hugh Benson, an afterlife commentator, tells us:
“The fruit contains a great quantity of nectar-like juice, at the same time leaving the flesh of the fruit firm to behold, and its appearance does not belie it for it tastes even more lovely than it looks. In eating the fruit we are not conscious of internal satisfaction such as you are on earth with your fruit. We feel at once a powerful force running through our whole system, a feeling of exhilaration both mental and physical. We have no physical hunger that calls for satisfaction; whatever fruit we eat acts as a life force, and, as it were, stirs [us] up mentally and charges us with vigour.” (2)
People on the astral planes have no need to eat or drink anything (or expel), as they would in a physical body. And it’s the absence of the physical body that makes a simple, easy equation of the astral planes with our fourth dimension difficult.
Down here we need to eat and drink and seek shelter. That changes the equation altogether.

And we live in the world of that changed equation. And, in it, the Mother and Michael ask us on the blog to go deeper into sharing – the reasons for it and the rewards of it.
Our animal instinct is to amass and defend. In my own experience, there’s a line we cross into the human domain of caring and compassion.
When we cross that line, and we do it every time we share, our action comes laced with love. The action itself opens our hearts. Not like love arrives like a postal parcel left at our door. No, love is a flow, whose mere touch can (perhaps now, perhaps later) elevate us to a place where sorrow and regret cannot reach.
Love which transforms everything it touches or every scene it’s a part of. Love which makes everything better and the life ahead of us worth living into.
Knowing how that operates, I’m pleased to be a part of it and invite you to experiment and see if what I’m saying here is true or not.
I volunteer to be the recipient! Me, Teach! I wanna do it!
If you wish to experiment with your love by donating to the blog, please, go on over to the Hope Chest and make a donation, with our undying gratitude.
Watch the love arise from your heart if and when you do. Watch closely. If you feel even a spark of it, acknowledge it (“you’re love!”), and allow it to fill you up, as it should do.
Starting the flow of love in our hearts is why the Mother asked us “to be on the receiving end.” (3)
This is beyond fun.
Love you all, donors, lovers, and plain adventurers!

(3) Steve: This [condition] that we are having to endure just doesn’t seem necessary.
Divine Mother: You have agreed that you are on, can we say, the receiving end.
Steve: So our allowing ourselves to be in a position to need to ask for help is used as a means to get people to open up?
Divine Mother: To express gratitude, generosity, unity and to express what is valuable to them.
Steve: So that’s what the spiritual meaning of this is. That we serve that purpose of igniting people’s generosity or inspiring it.
Divine Mother: That is correct. You are the catalysts.
Steve: That is what I needed to know. (Divine Mother in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, June 7, 2015.)
