I’d like to spend a little more time on something Matthew Ward (once, St. Matthew) said:
[Your] limitations are being reversed by the ever-increasing intensity of light in bodies that are absorbing it. Actually, your ‘travel ticket’ is the absorption of light that comes automatically with living in godly ways. (1)
“Your ‘travel ticket’ is the absorption of light that comes automatically with living in godly ways.” I’m writing particularly to men and more particularly to “manly men.”
“Living in godly ways” may sound strange and forbidden for you. Maybe sissy-ish even. Someone told me about a book the other day called Becoming Wealthy through Intimidation. (Someone tell the author about karma.) That’s more manly than living in godly ways, right? No fun there.
How to get from here to “living in godly ways”?
Well, when I take a look, I realize that it’s a process. It has steps and stages. But you won’t have to go through these because Matthew’s words are true, I think, in a second sense: (A) the absorption of the light we’re getting will automatically have us living in godly ways and (B) that transformation could come in an instant, as in the Wave of Love.
And intention is everything. What did Krishna say? A hardened criminal could turn to him with love in his heart and be saved? (2) Ascension is inclusive, not exclusive. Only our tolerance of the conditions is at issue.
I had to get over my vasana (core issue, traumatic and triggering memory) of father hatred. (Long story.) (3) I had to be shown the alternative: higher-dimensional love. (4) And then I had to have my character armor removed, to give me a second chance. (5) Now, where my mind was a battleground, all is quiet. It’s up to me what I do with this second chance. (“In my eightieth year, I was given a second chance….” Great story!)
I think the Wave of Love will do it all for us when it comes. Wipe us clean and fill us with love.
So you probably won’t have to struggle through this process, if in your heart you have a strong and pure intention to succeed.
And what is a “manly man” if not one of strong and pure intention to succeed?

(2) Though a man be soiled
With the sins of a lifetime,
Let him but love me,
Rightly resolved,
In utter devotion:
I see no sinner,
That man is holy.
Holiness soon
Shall refashion his nature
To peace eternal. (Sri Krishna in Swami Prabhavananda and Christopher Isherwood, trans., Bhagavad-Gita. The Song of God. New York and Scarborough: New American Library, 1972; c1944, 85.)
