I was scanning Youtube and came across a video on German POWs (prisoners of war) in Canada in WW2.
I don’t know why but I looked at the comments and was struck by this one:
“It wasn’t just Canadian POW guards who taught Germans how to play hockey. My uncle was a POW in Germany. The prisoners taught some of the German guards to play, too! He said many of the regular guards were decent people. It was the SS guards that were a nightmare. He even kept in touch with a couple of the guards he encountered, and they were friends right up until he died. People need to understand that there were many Germans who did not believe in Hitler or the Reich, but did what they were told in order to survive themselves. In many cases, they couldn’t even trust their own children not to turn them in.” (1)
I’m still weeping from having read: “Many of the regular guards were decent people. It was the SS guards that were a nightmare.” (I seem to weep really easily these days.)
The danger for us right now is to stay away from generalizations about people. Avoid categorizing, except if you’re in law enforcement or protection, where categorizing and judging are necessities – and expected.
As Jesus said many times, don’t judge others. (2) Don’t form opinions about anyone. They usually come from the egoic mind and not from the heart. And they’re as often wrong as right.
Generalizing about a whole people, religion, class, etc., is a step off the path and will only bring us regret when we look back at our role in Earth’s glorious Ascension.
The reactivated, sometimes silly antics we see on social media are not a person’s “true colors,” as the Wave of Love will show. Misguided, unwise, self-indulgent people – yes. Evil – no. In my books, only what a person does is evil, not the person themself. There is always a spark. The Mother doesn’t give up on anyone.
Kathleen: You forgive everyone so we forgive everyone.
Divine Mother: That is correct. No matter how heinous the crime, the action, it is forgiven. (3)
They’ve lost their way, but we’ve found ours. That way includes protection, but it doesn’t include acting evil ourselves.
If you’re a lightworker and not in law enforcement, then, I say, tongue in cheek, you’re in love enforcement. And the only one you can enforce the natural law with is yourself.
Ice hockey with prison guards. Well, why not? We’re all human.

(2) Matthew Ward’s comment is helpful here:
“The Bible says ‘Judge not lest ye be judged’ and channeled messages tell us not to judge others. If there is a difference between judging and having a negative opinion of what someone does, what is it?” The difference is intention. Opinions based in the observer’s personal values and principles are an immediate reaction to a person’s behavior. Judgment is the intention to attach a devaluing descriptive label to that person.
