If anyone needed proof that we’re watching theater at the highest levels, the play-acting between Vladmir Putin and Donald Trump (or their stand-ins) around nuclear-weapons testing is my pick for the best.
Matthew Ward has reported that Donald Trump has met with our star family. (1) If he has, he must know that nuclear weapons will not be permitted. World war will not be permitted. (2) So there are limits.
No, this has to be the end game for saber-rattling. The EBS has to come next. There’s nowhere else to go.
Keep in mind that Donald Trump is Commander-in-Chief of the Global Military Alliance as well as CIC and President of the United States. The chief of the global alliance is not going to nuke one of its members. Nuclear fears are, in my view, groundless, as is fear of the outbreak of a world war.
