Yes, there is a train and, yes, it will leave the station….
I’d like to clear up a seeming contradiction concerning Ascension.
On the one hand, we lightworkers are here in large measure to see that as many people ascend as possible. On the other hand, there is a definite cut-off date for Ascension. It looks as if the latter contradicts the spirit of the former.
Regarding Ascension’s inclusivity, years ago, Michael told me this of the spiritual task of what he called a “pillar”:
AAM: [The pillar] will act, at the end, to help many, many through. (1)
The pillar isn’t there to keep people out, but to pull and push people through. The accent is clearly inclusive, not exclusive.
We simply need enough internal light to manage the more refined vibration, as Matthew Ward explains:
“The glories of the Golden Age will be available only to the souls who absorb the light that will enable physical survival along Earth’s ascension journey into the high frequencies of fifth density.” (2)
On the other hand, there is a cut-off date after which some will ascend and some will not. This cut-off happens during what has been called the “time of separation.” Michael explains and let me cite his explanation at length:
Archangel Michael: It is taking longer because you’re still collectively trying to do it as one. Now the time of separation is very close. That is why we are speaking to all of you with perhaps a greater urgency than you’ve heard and felt before.
Steve: What do you mean by time of separation, Lord? It has been discussed. SaLuSa discussed it years ago.
AAM: When you made the collective decision to ascend as one, it was spiritually a very mature and evolved decision. You have witnessed, individually and collectively, how many have reneged on that promise, that decision.
That does not mean that, yes, in the infinite and eternal existence of the Mother, she will wait forever because this is the unfoldment of her Plan. This is what the penetration with all of our voices into each and every one of you is about.
There will be those who choose to leave, to abandon their physical forms rather than ascend in physical form.
Steve: That is what you mean by separation? Leave?
AAM: That is what I mean and I do not mean being spun off into an alternate world or Earth or Gaia or planet. I mean simply, abandoning the body, dying, and leaving and coming home. There is no penalty or shame or guilt. It is simply a decision.
But it is not the desire of the Mother that this [Ascension process] simply continue [forever] because what she also sees (what we all see) and what you’ve repeatedly said to us, even though we operate often in terms of eons rather than years, many of you are tired.
So we do not wish for those who have been stalwart and continue to practice fortitude and persistence along with love to reach the point where they abandon their bodies. And you are seeing that in many.
Steve: I can think of one person in particular that seems to be thinking of abandoning her body, so yes.
AAM: When it comes to a decision point of whether the recalcitrant remain or whether those who are determined to fulfil the Mother’s dream remain, make no mistake about it: Those who have been in the truth of their heart and service will be victorious. I cannot be clearer than that. (4)
When that cut-off date is is in part an individual matter. For instance, a lightworker may choose to remain with her ailing mother; if she did, she’d ascend upon her mother’s passing or perhaps her own. (5)

Are the two contradictory – inclusivity and a cut-off date?
Every project has a beginning, a middle, and an end. I think people expect that. I don’t think there’s anyone who expects the project of this Ascension to remain open and unfulfilled forever.
Ascension itself is virtually endless. But this particular Ascension is to see Gaia and us emerge from Third/Fourth Dimensionality, wherever we individually end up.
And given that the Company of Heaven makes exceptions to take service commitments into account, I’d say they’re handling the matter as compassionately as a heavenly host should.
When the time of separation comes, I expect that everyone will have had the fullest opportunity to make an informed decision. And those who don’t ascend now will ascend later.
Thus, the show will go on. The train will leave the station. Every person’s circumstances will be taken into consideration. No one is penalized for service in any version of Ascension I’ve read.
So, yes, Ascension is inclusive: The more, the merrier. But, yes as well, there is a time of separation and a cut-off date. Both are true and both are part of the Plan.

Steve: Should I be orienting toward ascending early or not? I have this sense that I’m supposed to be here. …
