And so it is true, The sun will be rising at zero degrees. On the Equinox the sun is directly overhead at the Equator thus being at 0′ longitudinal.
This year’s Spring Equinox in North America is on March 19th putting the first day of spring a little bit ahead of the familiar March 21st date.
Here’s hoping the weather cooperates wherever you are located.
This year the equinox will be in the sign of Aries which brings in a very powerful energy.
Aries and all the conjunctions with other planetary bodies represent change and dissolution of top down control. Apparently this will be prevalent through the April eclipse and beyond. Individually and collectively we are experiencing and healing a lot of this upheaval. Under the sun in Aries we are feeling the fire of energetic, driving and often impulsive behaviors. Controlled by the planet Mars, the Aries season can lead to strong passions and high creativity.
It’s the extended reading of the astrological forecast that fully grabbed my attention was the references to Pluto, Sedna and the Jupiter square continuing throughout 2024. According to Pam Gregory, astrologer, there are many indicators that we are undergoing a complete metamorphosis of humanity. I refer you to astrologers for a complete reading on what this spring equinox and upcoming solar eclipse will bring.
I am going to leave astrology to the professionals but I want to pick up on this idea of change.
Metamorphosis is the item that piqued my interest.
The most common example of metamorphosis as we know is the caterpillar as it changes into a butterfly.
I want to just pause on that thought for a minute.
How is that even possible?
We all know it happens, but If I didn’t know it happened and someone were telling it to me for the first time, I would have to say Balderdash.
Balderdash.
A caterpillar cannot turn itself into a completely different insect with no trace of the previous body.
A worm into a flying beauty? Or a worm into a moth even? Not possible.
And yet it happens.
And we have been told that during the process the caterpillar actually disintegrates into a pile of goo and then recreates itself into the majestic, graceful and delightful butterfly.
To be honest I don’t understand how this is possible.
We have also been told that we humans will be going through a metamorphosis.
Not just by astrology and what is foretold by the stars but from many different messengers from many different channeled sources.
It is pretty much an accepted idea that we are in ascension not just in spiritual evolution but in a physical transformation as well switching from carbon base to crystalline humans.
How else would that happen if not going through some type of metamorphosis?
Now I am not saying that we are going to have to sit in a chrysalis and turn into a pile of goo.
Maybe we will. I actually don’t know how it works.
The exact details get left out of most of the messages.
I can’t say I have heard every message so maybe that information is out there and I just haven’t heard it yet.
I have heard of many ascension symptoms as we make this shift.
There are many that I have experienced personally but have I turned into a crystal yet?
Hmmmm, I am not sure about that. I feel sparkly but probably still carbon. I don’t know how it could happen.
Actually I don’t even know what it means to be carbon, so would I feel a change when it happens?
I am going with yes on that one.
Yes, I can feel changes within myself.
Now if this is the first time this has happened and someone was trying to convince me, I would hesitate to call balderdash.
Why hesitate now you might ask?
Well, because I want to believe.
I also know the caterpillar to butterfly is impossible, but it happens.
So carbon to crystal…why not!
Another example of metamorphosis that does make sense to me is the story behind petrified wood.
I have recently come into possession of some rock pieces called petrified wood from the Yellowstone River in Montana.
This area had forests back 25 to 50 million years ago. Sudden changes in the environment actually altered and transformed this material.
The ancient forest went through a metamorphosis from a carbon based plant to rock.
Is that rock a crystal?
Well it kinda is. Many crevices that were open could have crystals growing in them.
Typically it is an agate or jasper like material.
The wood itself is solid and when polished feels like glass.
There is something incredible about holding a piece of this in your hands.
The idea that wood can become so solid and permanent as to be preserved for that span of time.
We are talking about eons of transformation occurring here on Earth.
And so it is.
Earth has been witness to many forms of change. And now we are set to witness another very transformative year.
We just witnessed pivotal history during the past few years.
At the time we knew we were in the throes of change but for some reason hindsight brings a clearer perspective.
Now we have a better idea about the change that is occurring but will we really know what is happening until we have a chance to look back at it.
Did the caterpillar know it was going to become a dancing pollenator?
Did the tree know it was going to become a collectable rock specimen?
When located at 0′ can you see the change from winter to spring?
As we go through whatever changes it is we are slated for we may not be aware that we are changing.
The shifts may be cataclysmic as for the trees or they may be subtle as at the equinox.
But I have no doubts that it will be as transformative as it is for the caterpillar.
Whichever way it appears for you, we are in it now.
I still don’t know what it means to be carbon based but if we were to consider that we are actually water based it could be a game changer.
We know that the observable structure of water is in crystalized form.
Add a thought, change the structure.
Raise your vibration , create a crystal.
I find it to be incredibly exciting to be on Earth at this time.
We are the future in the chrysalis process.
And it may be that our transformative metamorphosis is just one loving thought away.
For a collective it may take a little bit of time.
But for one person, this will take no time at all.
