‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house….
How simple it all seemed way back then.
This was not quite the same fireside Christmas and New Year. We may be the only ones who know it, but we’re in the middle of a hidden war, with planetary consequences.
We’ll win it, but wars are always tragic. And this one has a loss of life that we’ll only hear about later. (1)
Nevertheless, we made it through another Christmas season together. This blog made it thanks to you.
The Reval finish line, after a long, long journey, is rumored to be close. And … I know … we’ve heard it a million times.
I have a fallback plan … spiritual currency, Michael calls it.
I draw love up from my heart and that makes all things enjoyable. It especially enhances Christmas and New Year. And it makes the long wait bearable.
I now draw this love up from my heart and send it out to you, with the utmost gratitude in seeing that we have food and shelter every month. None of this would be possible without you. We’re not finished our drive yet.
Have an outrageously fantastic New Years knowing that this might be the last one in these clunky body-suits feeling as dense as we do. By this time next year we may be sporting our newer models, thanks to med beds. Maybe not. I don’t know.
I’ll be 28 and you’ll be?
Who knows? But it’s outrageously satisfying – and an honor and a privilege – to have made it this far with you.
Have a happy New Year, you and yours, from all of us here. CU on the other side.
