Sometimes I’m given a glimpse of something, as with ecstacy and exaltation. (1)
A glimpse is a short experience (say, 1-2 seconds), enough to “be” in but not enough to reach any conclusions about anything really. A raw experience.
Sometimes I’m allowed to live in a toned-down space for lengthy periods of time, as with transformative love and bliss in 2015. (2) Probably not the full thing but entirely delightful all the same.
Sometimes I’m allowed to be in an enlightened experience or space, but within boundaries. An excellent example was a truncated experience of Brahmajnana that I had sometime after the Wave of Love, Sept. 28, 2015. (3)
Let me expand on that one because it shows best how the Company of Heaven manages us.
That evening I was lying down when suddenly a golden river erupted from somewhere unknown to me and raced towards my crown chakra, in which it disappeared.
This was Shakti (energy) merging with Shiva (the Void), no? The divine female and male merging? Brahmajnana? God-Realization?
Absolutely not. It lacked any experiential side – primarily no bliss, which is what causes realization. No bliss, no realization.
Bliss is the great uplifter. Without bliss, lifting me up to another point from which I could simply know what was happening, it was little different than a movie – The Greatest Show on Earth but still a show.
But don’t take my word for this. I was just the guy watching the movie. I asked Archangel Michael about it at my next reading and he explained:
Steve: [Emptiness of mind] was followed next by what appeared to be the kundalini completing its circuit at the seventh chakra. Is that in fact what happened?
AAM: Yes. …
Steve: Hmm, interesting! Ordinarily you would experience Brahmajnana [God-Realization] at that point but I felt that it had been muted, toned down.
AAM: When you use the term “dramatic enlightenment experiences” [as I did earlier], you are talking about Nirvana. You are talking about the unity of all with One.
It is not to say that you will not experience that, but you cannot (well, you can if you wish; it is a choice to) simply remain in that state of unity, of One, or be fully conscious, in service, in action….
So, it is a toning down, if anything. It really is the middle ground. …
You know that enlightenment is right there in front of you. It is yours to access. But if you are in service, you will not choose to live there. …
You can think of it as keeping two feet firmly on the ground. (5)
I think the conclusion inescapable that the Divine Mother and celestials manage our enlightenments.
One of the reasons I repeat key discussions with Michael and the Mother is to make the cross-cultural point as clearly and emphatically as I can, that the Divine Mother and her celestial agents do oversee, direct, and manage our illumination experiences as we make our return to the One. For our highest good and the highest good. I’m not aware that this is well understood.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jew, Parsi, or Taoist, the situation would remain the same. The same Mother/Father One is, I assert, overseeing our return Home.
It just isn’t part of our spiritual or religious thinking yet.

Other experiences at a meditation retreat (7D) and at Xenia were also truncated. On Xenia, the Divine Mother said:
At the meditation retreat, I moved without moving, spoke without speaking. I was in the state that Sri Ramana describes: “A yogi who is in this state is inactive even while engaged in activity. This is also called sahaja nirvikalpa samadhi (natural state of absorption in oneself without concepts).”
I asked Archangel Michael about it:
Steve Beckow: I had an experience at a meditation workshop in which I felt regal. It was a partial experience. Can you tell me what that part of me was that I accessed.
Archangel Michael: … Your Highest Self, your Oversoul, is very regal.
SB: So that was an experience of the Oversoul.

Steve: The experience at Xenia, Mother, was that truncated?
Divine Mother: Slightly, yes.
Steve: I had the thought [it was]. … The Light I saw should have been brighter than a thousand suns. The fact that it wasn’t suggests to me that the experience was truncated. …
DM: It was not is brilliant as possible, let us put it that way.
Steve: Alright… And again, the reason is to keep me in sync with my readers?
DM: To keep you in sync with your readers. But let me be very clear…. If you had seen the light as it actually is – yes, a million, billion suns – you would have simply departed. … We don’t mean die but you would have departed the life that you have designed – yes, with us – for yourself, for the service you are providing – you would have departed and simply said, ‘I do not need to do this.
