The Father does not speak because he is still and therefore silent.
The Mother is the Voice in the Silence, the Voice of One crying in the wilderness, the Noise of Many Waters. (1)
Thus spake the prophets.
However who is our highest source on anything to do with the Mother? Well, the Mother herself. Since the Mother is the Father, there’s no one higher in knowledge (or wisdom) that we’ll ever meet, worlds without end. (2)
So I look to and wait upon the Mother to state the foundational truths of cross-cultural spirituality. Each new way she states something I ponder.
I came across a message from her contained in Linda Dillon’s The New You which again provided a definitional statement to reflect on. The comment is:
“Can you imagine, in any dimension or reality, that I would ever turn to you as your Mother, the One, the movement or the silence, that I [would] ever express disappointment in you? That would be to express disappointment in myself, in the Father, and that is not possible.” (3)
Let’s extract from that: “I … turn to you as your Mother, the One, the movement or the silence.” The one who is “your Mother” is also “the One,” and behind both “movement or silence.” We could therefore say that your Mother = The One = The Movement or the Silence.
I consider hers to be the definitive evidence were I to be arguing that the Mother is the Father is the One, whether considered as the cosmic movement or the transcendent silence. There is no other wizard behind the curtain. When we’re talking to the Mother, we’re talking to the One.
Every time I go over this ground, every time I go up the mountain by a new slope, I’m filled with bliss. So I get not only uplifting discovery, but instant reward.

(2) I used to say, “because when we meet him, we will have lost all traces of individuality.” Let me amend that now and say “all traces of ego.” The Mother and Michael have convinced me that we re-emerge after coming Home to the Heart of One, burnished and brilliant.
