In November 2019 memos were released that revealed Burisma Holdings, Hunter Biden’s Ukrainian natural gas company, pressured the Obama State Department to help end the corruption investigation during the 2016 election cycle just one month before then-Vice President Joe Biden forced Ukraine to fire Viktor Shokin, the prosecutor probing his son Hunter.
Joe Biden bragged about getting Viktor Shokin fired during a 2018 speech to the Council on Foreign Relations.
The media immediately covered for Biden and said his targeting of Mr. Shokin was totally unrelated to the prosecutor’s corruption investigation into Hunter and Burisma Holdings.

New memos released because of a FOIA lawsuit filed by award-winning investigative reporter John Solomon show Burisma Holdings contacted the Obama State Department several times during the 2016 election to discuss ending the probe.
In fact, Burisma Holdings actually name-dropped Hunter Biden when requesting help from the State Department.
According to CD Media last week former Ukrainian official Oleksandr Onyshchenko said Hunter Biden was receiving “off the books” payments from Burisma in the millions.
Then days later, in November 2019, CD Media posted leaked records of payments to Hunter Biden from Burisma Holdings totaling millions.

The documents show 46 payments to Hunter Biden’s company from November 2014 to November 2015.
There were 38 payments for $83,333 totaling more than $3.1 million.
House Republicans Ask Director Wray if FBI Was in Possession of Hunter Biden’s Laptop During Trump Impeachment and Hid Evidence from Trump Defense

House Republicans on Thursday sent a letter to Director Chris Wray asking if the FBI was in possession of Hunter Biden’s laptop during the impeachment coup of President Trump.
“If the FBI was, in fact, in possession of this evidence and failed to alert the White House to its existence that would have given even more weight to the president’s legal defense, this was a gross error in judgement and a severe violation of trust,” the letter says.
The letter was signed by 19 House Republicans, including Reps. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz.; Louie Gohmert, R-Texas; Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz.; and Jody Hice, R-Ga.

House Republicans are calling on the FBI to reveal whether it was in possession of a laptop that reportedly contained emails by Hunter Biden during the impeachment of President Trump — and claiming the agency committed a “gross error in judgement” if it did not inform the White House
“A large portion of the president’s legal defense case revolved around strong evidence that former Vice President Biden’s son Hunter was peddling his influence to his father to land lucrative jobs overseas that he might not have otherwise been qualified for,” the letter says.
The lawmakers ask whether the FBI was in possession of the laptop and drive as documented in the Post, whether it took steps to authenticate the drive and the data, and if anyone at the FBI briefed officials at the Department of Justice or White House after December.
“Why did the New York Post have the information about this laptop and hard drive before the American people?” it asks.
The New York Post on Wednesday dropped an October surprise on Joe Biden when they began releasing damning emails found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop hard drive.
The New York Post reported that a laptop computer abandoned at a Delaware repair shop contains emails between Hunter Biden and various foreign actors offering him money to have access to his VP daddy Joe.
According to The Post, the computer repair shop owner contacted the FBI and gave them Hunter Biden’s laptop in December of 2019.
As usual, the FBI sat on the evidence and did nothing about Biden’s years of corruption and pay-to-play schemes.
The House Democrats launched an impeachment coup against President Trump in December over a phone call he had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky where he discussed Biden’s corruption.
It appears the FBI was in possession of Hunter Biden’s laptop and failed to alert the Trump Administration to its existence.
Certainly the damning evidence found on Hunter’s laptop would have bolstered President Trump’s defense.

Johnson & Johnson to Pay Over $100 Million to Settle 1000+ Baby Powder Cancer Suits

Johnson & Johnson, the world’s largest maker of health care products, will pay more than $100 million to settle more than 1,000 lawsuits that blame the company’s baby powder for causing cancer.
These lawsuits have been happening for a few years now, and according to Bloomberg, the company has 20,000 similar lawsuits still pending.
“The deals come seven months since J&J last faced a jury reviewing evidence about the cancer risk of its signature talc product, which it maintains is safe, although it has replaced it with a cornstarch version in the U.S. and Canada. The company used the lull, due to the pandemic, to hold settlement talks, according to the people, who asked not to be identified because the matter is private.”
Kim Montagnino, a J&J spokeswoman said that:
“In certain circumstances, we do choose to settle lawsuits, which is done without an admission of liability and in no way changes our position regarding the safety of our products. According to her, the “scientific evidence” supports that position.
If this is the case, it begs the question, why so many many lawsuits and settlements over the years if the “scientific evidence” does actually support that position, and not the other?
According to a statement from SOKOLOVE Law,
Companies that mine talc are required to take extra steps to ensure the absence of asbestos in their talc. Instead, J&J allegedly went to great lengths to fake it.
Not only did the company know about the asbestos contamination, evidence suggests, but J&J also failed to warn its customers about the link between Baby Powder and cancer or replace its talc with a safer alternative.
As a result, J&J guaranteed its customers’ exposure to asbestos.
And regardless of their size or numbers, asbestos fibers are lethal at any capacity. As the World Health Organization (WHO) has stressed repeatedly, there is no safe level of exposure. [emphasis added]
Talc in their baby powder hasn’t been the only issue, not long ago, the company had to recall approximately 33,000 bottles on baby powder after asbestos was detected in one of its bottles by the FDA.

The debate on the fluoridation of drinking water — one of the most polarized, long-running, and high-decibel controversies in public health — has been reignited as new studies find that fluoride is toxic to the developing brain.
Last week, the U.S. National Toxicology Program released a systematic review of all published studies evaluating the potential neurotoxicity of fluoride; the benefits of fluoride with respect to reducing tooth decay were not addressed.
A committee of the National Academy of Science, Medicine, and Engineering will review it this fall. This comprehensive report scrutinized hundreds of human and animal studies on the impact of fluoride on brain and cognitive function
Most, but not all, of the high-quality studies evaluated fluoride concentrations that were about twice the level added to drinking water or higher.
However, when considering all the evidence, their conclusion was “fluoride is presumed to be a cognitive developmental hazard to humans.”
The National Toxicology Program’s conclusion was strengthened by a synthesis of high-quality studies showing that children who were exposed to higher amounts of fluoride during early brain development scored about 3 to 7 points lower on their IQ tests.
Their conclusion is consequential as about 75% of Americans on community water systems have fluoride in their tap water. Water is the main source of fluoride for people who live in communities with water fluoridation.
When do we know enough to revise long-held beliefs? We are reminded of the discovery of neurotoxic effects of lead that led to the successful banning of lead in gasoline and paint.
Despite early warnings of lead toxicity, regulatory actions to reduce childhood lead exposures were not taken until decades of research had elapsed and millions more children were poisoned.
We know that the developing brain is exquisitely sensitive to minute concentrations of lead and other toxic chemicals.
Moreover, toxic chemicals’ irreversible effects on children’s rapidly growing brains emphasize the need for prevention.
Failing to act on accumulated evidence raises deep and unsettling questions.
Why are beliefs about the safety of fluoride so intransigent in the face of consistent evidence to the contrary?
Costs outweigh benefits
Fluoride offers no benefits to the fetus and infant and — as shown in the video below — new evidence suggests that fluoride is toxic to the developing brain at levels routinely found in the general population.
The benefits of fluoride in the prevention of tooth decay are predominately topical, occurring only after teeth appear in the child’s mouth.
Fortunately, pregnant women can use fluoridated toothpaste and, if they want to do more to prevent cavities, can limit their consumption of sugar, a leading cause of tooth decay.
The loss of a single IQ point for an individual child is imperceptible, but the societal cost of millions of children losing 5 IQ points, or more is enormous.
A decrement of even 1 IQ point translates to a 2% reduction in lifetime economic productivity (roughly $20,000), not to mention the additional educational costs required for children with lower IQs.
Many health and dental organizations in North America recommend community water fluoridation.
Given the weight of evidence that fluoride is toxic to the developing brain, the time for health organizations and regulatory bodies to review their recommendations and regulations to ensure they protect pregnant women and their children is now.
We can act now by recommending that pregnant women and infants reduce their fluoride intake.
Specialized water filtration systems can be used to remove fluoride from tap water for pregnant women and infants fed formula. Pregnant women can also avoid black tea, which hyper-accumulates fluoride.
The good news for all women is that there is little fluoride in breast milk. Bottled water typically contains lower amounts of fluoride than fluoridated tap water.
Some health advocates are going a step further. In 2016, a group of citizens petitioned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to stop adding fluoride to drinking water because it is toxic.
The EPA rejected the petition.
In response, the citizen’s group took an unprecedented step and sued the EPA in federal court.
EPA lawyers argued half-heartedly that the science was insufficient and said the Agency does not have the resources to regulate fluoride under the Toxic Substances Control Act.
In August, Judge Edward Chen of the Ninth Circuit deferred his ruling on whether fluoridation poses an unreasonable risk until the National Toxicology Program released their report.
New evidence questions existing policies about the safety of fluoride for babies’ developing brains.
Given that safe alternatives are available and that there is no benefit of fluoride to babies’ teeth before they erupt or appear, it is time to protect those who are most vulnerable.
